No dear as per our research from various books and sites we came to the conclusion that Third Step is C and not D, but in some places the steps varies. So follow the book which your college has recommended to avoid losing marks.

How Can we use same counselling procedure for two pupils with different problems (such as learning difficulties). It depends on the problem of the pupils. And I think every child has at least something weaknesses/problems which need counselling to get overvomed. Either both option should be correct or there is need of modification in the language of question.

The problems which you brought up now is indeed correct, I have mentioned that too, all children are unique and require different treatment, but please go through the process which I have mentioned, because in the process Stage 1: I have clearly mentioned the counselor is trying to understand the clients problem, Stage 2: Both Counselor and Client trying to get their problems resolved and Stage 3: Finally they overcome the problem. So if you follow these process and judge the question according to it... U won't get confused anymore. That is why neither the question nor the option require modification. The reason why we are preferring option A and not C bcoz we have framed this question on the basis of the steps which we discussed earlier and examiners frame such questions in which 2 or 3 options seems correct to make it more challenging, but all of you are supposed to select best possible correct option so option C is partially correct in this context based on the steps I explained earlier in the video. It's. My humble request to Everyone, while answering Q.8 judge it on the basis of the Steps I explained earlier in this video to avoid confusion.
