Creating Simple Gnomes with Penny

DIY Simple, cute gnomes from socks. Easy, fun, inexpensive gift for Valentines Day, Easter, Christmas, Birthdays, any day. I have included a list of the materials and basic instructions.
Materials
White sock
2 colored socks
Cat Litter (fragrance free)
Drinking glass or jar
Stuffing
String 2 pieces 9-10” length
Scissors
Glue gun
Blush
Fur 4-5” square
Ribbon, bells or other bling if desired
Needle and thread matching sock for hat
Instructions
Cut white sock at heal. Put bottom of sock in glass and stretch the top over the sides.
Fill with 1-2 cups of cat litter.
Remove from glass and add some stuffing.
Pinch nose to a ball and tie with string.
Fill with stuffing to desired height
Tie off top with string.
Glue sock hair to body.
Brush blush on nose to make pink.
Pull bottom of one sock (foot) over body for jacket. Roll down top of sock for collar.
Use other sock for hat.
Cut to desired length using foot of sock. Roll the top for the brim of hat.
OR Use top of sock for brim and cut off toe. Sew or gather end to make tip of hat.
Stuff hat and set aside.
Cut half circle out of top of fur to sit under nose. Round off bottom of fur.
Glue fur to cheeks and under nose.
Glue on jacket and hat.
Put dab of glue under beard.
Feather out beard.
Add ribbon or other decor to hat.
Add your own touch!
