😂😂 I do feel we are on the right track now. Hubby did the hard work shoveling out the gravel. I agree with you and Vince, not going to put any gravel on the bottom. We really don't want to put any gravel back in, but rather the pile of rocks that we kept next to the bog. We just decided that after we already shot that clip, but left it in. I will explain why we didn't in the next video. The rocks will serve a purpose, and make it easy to vacuum the bottom, as opposed to the gravel. Thanks for watching my friend ❤

Just watching from work in my digger, I made a bog filter on my old pond, I know what you mean about the nasty stuff, I was for ever changing it, I was later told, that "nasty stuff" was part of the water cycle, and it would balance it self out, and the healthy bacteria would grow extremely fast in the summer months, I just thought it was turning bad. Another fantastic update Chris, looking forward to the next one 👍
