Some of the condos they be trying to sell in the Malls in Manila are small for the money they are asking now.. What has happened is many foreigners now coming to retire have exploded the market.

So even if i pay the full amount cash/wire i need to prove an income.... -i work for myself I’m an entrepreneur and make money however and whenever i like. I would like to buy a few of them and live in another city in another i would also own. I am not eligible for my superannuation (401k USA) and pension for another 15 years how do i get around that one??? Suggestions appreciated.

Not to be negative but I have been staying in condo and moved around to different ones and it’s not for me . I recommend coming here and taking your time rent for awhile don’t jump right in . Your eyes 👀 get big for what you get .

Hello jay, I've been following you for a few years or so. I moved here last year from the great free state of central Florida. I'm currently living in Davao City but will be coming to Manila, specifically the Muntinlupa area Feb 15th through March 15th, to look around for a place to stay after my lease is up here. I'm looking to rent a condo outside of Manila or possibly rent an apartment in one of the provinces, but not too far from the hospital or malls.... I think you understand what I'm trying to say? Any suggestions on places for a budget of about $2,100.00 USD. Thanks in advance for your response 👍 😊

@Steven Harris Thank you for the recommendation,, hows that expat population? I'm trying to stay away from the dumagueta types of places where there's almost 10k's expats bumping into each other. Also convenient to hospitals 🏥 and malls etc etc etc. Thx 😊.
@@realist2785 Samal has a bit of an expat population but nothing like Dumaguete. You don't really notice them. It's a typical small island, has a small hospital but no mall.
Tagum is the capital of Davao del Norte (province north of Davao city). It has all the major malls and big hospitals. The area around the night markets is pretty artsy. Has a bit of a western city feel.
Do yourself a favour and drop in to Panabo on the way (about an hour's drive north of Davao city. It's just a regular city of just over 100k, nothing touristy. They don't get many foreigners, you'll feel like a rock star. Across from the 7-11 is Dodds BBQ, great restaurant.
Maybe this one is around 3 to 5million pesos..
