I'm 61 years old and I'll tell you now - this would be by FAR the *best-EVER* NZ rugby league team, even with their loss last week!
It's not just the result - it's the way they PLAY! Fast and elusive!
I've NEVER seen a Kiwis league team play like this!
They were playing like the awesome Canberra Raiders in the late 80s and early 90s!
The team with Brett Mullins, Bradley Clyde, Steve Walters, Gary Belcher, "Chicka" Ferguson - super-special team!

This kiwi team is probably one of the best we have had in a long time, Most the players selected especially that back 3 have been in great form for their clubs coaches really done their selection home work 👏..As for Australia still picking experience over form players,players playing out off position just to suit certain players..
Pretty sure DCE and Staggs just played their last games for Australia. Also, why do they persist with picking Yeo for rep teams. Hes a great club player but hes not built for rep

They're a very young and exciting side, and it's nice to see Kiwi talent being pulled from a wide pool of players. This is a significant result: it's seldom you can hold an Aussie team to no points, and still chalk up double digits yourself. It'll be a match that will remain in Kiwi RL history.
To many Queensland players in the Australian side with no real passion for the green and gold jumper and New Zealand showed that by dominating every part of the game. Well done, Kiwis
