Must have steady job for 2 years
Make 3 times the rent for market rent
If you are on Section 8, you will need to have a voucher in place with City of Atlanta Housing and not on a waiting list.
All adults 18 or over will have a credit and background check and be added on the lease.
Owner prefers 2 year lease
Application Fee is $60 dollars per person and take 3-4 business days to process.

I looked at Century Lofts way back in 1999. The building was in process of being converted to lofts during the big condo boom in Atlanta. I loved what they were doing, but the area still was a bit raw for me. I'm in a wheelchair and can't take any chances on safety. Looks like things have come a long way in the entire Castleberry area. I bought a nice loft in Brookhaven and lived there for almost 12 years until I renovated a big ranch house in Cumming. As much as I love my house, I still miss my loft at times. There's nothing like the views from floor-to-ceiling windows. Excellent video!!

Yes that area is still a bit raw. It’s changing slowly though. The current mayor is trying to alleviate the issues in downtown and in and around Castleberry but iwith anything political, it’s always a tussle to share the money around for the things the city needs.
The owner has had this property since the earlier ‘00’s she still loves it even though she hasn’t lived in it for a while.
Glad you were able to customize your home. So many people who are abled- differently, don’t always have the means to upgrade their properties for what they need. And most cities talk a big game about making their cities more accessible. But a lot of it is just lip service. I have a property for sale now with a ramp, 36 inch wide doors and lower counters and cabs on a level lot on a ranch home and I am working hard to get the right eyes on it. It’s out in Douglasville for 280k. 4 bed 3 bath. Needs updating but the bones are solid

The elevator is always broken, the area is sketchy (especially at night), random people access the building often…but the rooftop view is amazing.
That's a shame. The manager does lack on a few things here and there at the building but the elevator should be one of those things that don't. A new elevator would cost quite a hefty sum that would be passed along to the the owners an renters of the units unfortunately. A good elevator maintenance company seems to be due if it is an on going problem.

Honestly, I don't think the Owner is doing a great job in Maintaining the property. I really appreciate how you viewed the property. The Main room is dark although just the walls are painted. In my humble opinion, the ceiling should be painted white It gives the space a bigger look. On the Main floor when you pan to the right you can see where there was a Major water leak. Other than that it's a nice unit. Please don't take my comment as a negative. In my opinion, this is an awesome space, hopefully, the owner can make the necessary upgrades to garner the prices he needs
Thanks for your comment. I don’t own the unit so there is no offense taken. The owner repaired the link. It’s a building issue, not an owners issue per se. There was a gutter issue right there in that corner that building maintenance addressed, just not in time for when the video was made.
The ceiling could be painted but they would change the aesthetic of it being a loft. Very few of the units are actually painted in that building. They’re very much styled in the original condition of the factory. Some of the units and in the hallway you can still see the original docking numbers for where they put supplies on. The workers were there over 100 years ago.

@@ILoveMableton no pet as of now but was planning on getting one once i move. it will probably be a Doberman that will of course be trained. even if not that breed, I know I want to get a dog at some point and would love if that option could be left open.
