I love a good knockoff kislux because it helps me decide if I want to buy the real thing. Thatâs the part. Thatâs it. I feel like people discriminate against knockoffs, but for me, Iâll pause when buying a trendy big-ticket item or when I feel the over-consumption frenzy is coming for me.
I've been contemplating this one since I returned my Coach Teri just because I really liked the Laurel more, but opted for the Teri because it had a back pocket. The leather is just so much nicer on this one! Thanks for this comparison because I also loved the LV Carryall, but could never bring myself to purchase one. I change my mind too much! LOL
This was a great video Sabrina. The bags are super similar but the Coach option gives a much more cost effective solution. And if someone likes the LV Carryall this Coach bag gives an alternative. Both are beautiful bags and I love that your collection is so diverse that you can share both bags and their similarities.
@@NothingButBags you can say that again, Liz. I would never re-purchase the Carryall at the current price point. But oh well, just have to slap yourself about some decisions sometimes 😂 Thanks for watching this long video, if you made it through.
Thank you and I appreciate you watching. The Coach option is really great and there is a version without rivets that I did not even notice before. It's even more practical.
Thanks for the comparison I didn’t know I needed! I am a huge fan of the Laurel - I have 4. I’ve been curious about the Carryall though. The WIMB was very helpful.
Hi Sabrina I’m fairly new to your community, thank you for such a thorough comparison of the these two bags!!! I like how Coach provides a slightly better option on a VERY similar bag to LV!!! I really like the Caryall a lot but this is a better option spatially so Laurel here I come!!!🎊🎊😎!!!
Hi Monica, thanks for being here and watching. It was my pleasure to do the comparison 😀 The Laurel with rivets is on sale today and I linked it in description box. Note: There is also a smooth pebbled leather version without the rivets.
Thank you for sharing with us.I’ve been waiting for this comparison, since I am thinking of getting the coach one.And I love the capacity and the slouchness and of course the price ❤ Thank you from Japan😊
The Carryall PM (in black empreinte) is my one and only LV bag. I really like it. I also really like the Coach Laurel hobo, though I don't have it. It seems like a great alternative, especially the price. I love the rivets on it, and wouldn't mind it in pink or green. I'm just trying to buy less stuff these days, I already have so many bags! The Coach should win on price alone, but I do think LV's monogram (in empreinte), with the flowers and stars, is prettier than Coach's signature C. And even though I rarely wear the Carryall as a crossbody, I do on occasion and like that I don't have to carry two straps with me if I need to change from shoulder to crossbody. I don't like having two straps attached to a bag, so I know I would only have one or the other on Laurel if I bought it and whichever I went out with, that's what I'd just be stuck with. And I like the D ring on the front, as I usually take the luggage tag off and tie a pretty silk bow or hang some other charm from there. I agree with you on the pouch, what is really the point of that flat pouch? I can squeeze a phone, key fob, 2 cards, and a chapstick in there and use on its own, but it zips all wavy at the top. I usually just take it out and leave it at home. If I leave it in there, the best use I've found for it as tampons and pads, lol.
Hey there. I thought it was just me with those thoughts about that flat pouch, lol. I don't know why they make it that way. Yes, it zips very wavy and distorted with certain things inside. I completely understand the practicality of the single adjustable strap on the Carryall though. The Laurel with the plain pebbled leather is a great alternative too; it has a more classic aesthetic without the rivets and if I weren't trying to buy fewer things also, I would pick one up! Thank you for watching!
@@TheHopefulminimalist Thanks for the reply. I saw the Laurel with the rivets at Coach today and it was sooo tempting. You have a great collection. Best!
So beautiful😍! Thanks to your review and demo, I purchased the Laurel the matching wallet and another item. I can't wait for it to arrive! I did use your link, I hope you received credit for it. 🤩
@@TheHopefulminimalist That beautiful chalk and gold…the exact one you have. I love the look of it, the slouch, the smile, the rivets, I even love the sound of the leather and the straps as you worked with it. Sold! Lol. I tired not to, but I couldn’t resist.
Thanks for this comparison. It’s very interesting how these companies basically make the same type of bags both high and low end. The Laurel is definitely on my wish list ❤
Hi Tangie, a lot of people are saying they didn't know it existed. I didn't either. The rivets caught my attention, but the regular version has been out for some time. Thank you for watching.
I have the Carryall pm in bicolor Dove/Cream. I also have the PM reverse. I'm not sure about the flat pouch either. It's very pretty but not really as useful as a mini pochette. I enjoyed watching your video. You did a good job & your voice is relaxing to listen to.
They definitely look similar, same functionality, both roomy and a great everyday or easy grab and go bag, they both look very comfortable, Coach though has more room. This Coach bag reminds me of the Coach soft tabby hobo that i love. Price difference? We all know of course, so i would say it depends on your lifestyle 😊 practicality wise? Coach absolutely ❤ thanks for this comparison Sabrina ❤
I think they mean “Blue-Washed”, as in “White-Washed”, like you’d do to a piece of furniture. Which explains why its such a faint/light shade of blue 😊
Sadly, even if I buy an authentic bag, some people will think it's fake because I'm a person of color. But some people will also think my kislux is authentic.
Thank you and thanks for watching, Ty! It is really soft and pebbled; you'd have closer contact with the soft pebbled leather with the Laurel without the rivets though. It's pretty much identical except the Coach outlet logo on the front and no rivets. The pebbled dark stone Laurel is beautiful.
Both are great! I don’t think I knew about the Laurel-this is exactly why I love this community; there’s always something new to discover!
Always, something new :)
