They also seeing sudden rise in popularity since covid because of streaming increase... Allmost all the classic age old hit hindi movies are remakes from Malayalam movies like Hulchul Hungama Hey Baby Baagam baag. Herapheri Houseful Garam Masala Drishyam 1 and 2 Bhool Bhulaiya Chup chup ke These are just samples. There's many more...😊
Bhai for us, Every actor is new except some like mohanlal etc, Hence idea ni hai as.compared to u guys. And thats the reason cinema is being watched with a complete neutral and non fan feeling !!
Malayalam movies have always been like this. Not just 2024, throughout, my scope includes 80s 90s 2000s. Watch the original Drishyam, Aattam, Aarkariyam etc. All are done superbly. Religious expressions, friendship, crime thriller, political brewing etc all are carried superbly
