I’m learning that I love Tuberose with some fruitiness to it! Give me pear 🍐 cherry 🍒 raspberry, etc. If it has a sweet fruitiness I love it 😝 That’s why BDK Tuberose Imperiale had to go. She wasn’t moving me enough 😂
I have all of these in my collection and I really enjoy them. I think there is enough of a difference in the JPG LaBelle and the intense that you can own both. I don’t regret having both.
I have both Scandal and Scandal A Paris, one time, I wore Scandal A Paris on a rainy night, I got a compliment from a stranger(man) that I smelled ssooo good. From then on, it became one of my fave scents from my perfume collection.👍
Excellent video, so sorry I'm so late! I just wanted to comment that Scandal by Night and La Belle le Parfum are my most complimented fragrances, ever! And by a mile! I get compliments from men and women, and I only wear them at night, in cooler weather... Funnily enough, I've gone off both of them, and have full bottles and backups... I keep them around because when the mood strikes, I reach for them... But I have a 80+ perfume collection and I find myself more drawn to Initio, Mancera and BDK than to my old faves... It's weird how your scent preferences evolve, huh?
Thank you, better late than never! 😉 I would say my scent preferences have expanded but I think I will always be a designer fragrance gal at heart 🫣 I have tested/purchased so many niche perfumes and sold off quite a bit while keeping some of the more mass appealing niche fragrances from houses like Parfums de Marly and HOS. As much as I love the artistry and the complexity of some other niche houses and I am sometimes blown away by a fragrance, I don’t want to smell them (on me) all day. I find myself enjoying more designer fragrances and what some (OK maybe a lot 😂) would consider boring and overdone. My favorites from the houses you mentioned are Atomic Rose, Pas Ce Soir (even tho performance on me is terrible) but nothing from Mancera…there’s a brash opening to the ones I’ve tried that I can’t get past but I did enjoy Juicy Flower in the deep dry down ❤️

Atomic Rose, Pas Ce Soir, Juicy Flowers (and Roses Vanille, Velvet Vanilla), are my faves too! Especially Atomic Rose which I keep a backup because I BATHE in it! Ha ha. But at heart, I am also a designer girl, being Coco Mademoiselle Intense (Spring), La Vie est Belle Soleil Crystal (Summer), Burberry Her Elixir (Fall), Tresor La Nuit A La Folies (Winter), and to a certain extent La Belle Le Parfum (though I've overdone it so much I use sparingly), are my signature scents! Though Mancera's Roses Vanille is quickly climbing the ranks. and I've just discovered Her Elixir and the edp which I'm obsessed about too (in time for Spring and Summer in the Southern Hemisphere). As notes go, I detest Ylang Ylang (as a base note and sometimes middle note, it smells like rotten bananas and garbage on my skin) and Tuberose (except for the candied one in Velvet Vanilla, or when it's part of a "white flowers" note accord). I have subscribed to your awesome channel, will be diving into you awesome content, and looking forward to future fragrancey interactions :)

Like Orange Blossom can be bothersome when it’s too sickly sweet but sometimes I love it when it’s has more of bitter orange and/or floral undertones. Gardenia can be nice if blended well but can instantly give me a headache if it’s too sharp and Ylang ylang is one that can be too yellow floral and carnal at times but other times I enjoy it in some tropical fragrances that aren’t floral heavy. I just bought a bottle of scandal by night she's everything and I have 3 back up bottles of la belle and la belle la parfum lol... These fragrances I don't want to be without... If you want to stand out and get attention and compliments jean paul gaultier is the go too
Out of the scandals I have I love so scandal the best. I love la belle but now I'm wanting to get the intense version ! Scandal by night is nice but it's not a love. I liked the opening of scandal A paris but the honey in that one got weird on my skin :(
I always prefered the original La belle. Feels way more dimensional than le parfum version. The tonka and vanila in le parfum are so overpowering and it makes that perfect blend of the original feel like your basic go to comforting sweet smell😊

As someone who loves patchouli I don’t pick up the note strong 🤔 Sometimes it helps the perfume last longer which is what I think they did with these. But one can never be too safe 😂
First off your look in this video is 🔥🔥🔥! The Smokey eye, top, all of it! Now, I don’t have any of the Scandals BUT love both La Belles… leaning more towards the intense version a likkle bit more…. I have both of the la belle’s and I’m really enjoying the le parfum version. I have scandal by night and so scandal. Both of those are so different and many have said so scandal doesn’t belong in the line because if how different it smells to the rest. I’m curious about the A Paris version.

I don’t think the Le Parfum is super mature but yes, sexy. Just a little too sweet for me. I think it will tick all the boxes if you’re into deeper, sweet perfumes. The OG has an added freshness that ticks my box living in a tropical area. Hope this helps ❤️

I decluttered so scandal and kept the by night. I have both the la belles, but i like the intens version best.

It’s not marketed that way but I think everyone can wear what they want 🤷🏻♀️ I will say that the Le Parfum is more warm spicy and deeper of a scent.
