Hey, great content as usual :D Quick question about the phasing mechanic. I know some Ghost players love to mask the sound of the phase and hide the red light by phasing behind objects. What's the counterplay to this? I feel like it's almost impossible to deal with a Ghost player that abuses this.
Something that really helps in my experience is better communication on survivor teams. use quickchats to let your team know the ghost can stealth phase, what the killer is currently doing, where, and when they phase/unphase. other than that, it's mostly just being super aware of ur surroundings. Something I do if I know the killer stealth phases and im on a gen where im vulnerable is changing the angle of my camera to where I think they'll unphase so i can hear it. obviously it doesn't work 100% of the time and severely limits my sight on possible openings, but good ghost players rarely just walk in anyway and I've had more success with it than just waiting and watching
@@lamp4791 Eh, I dunno. I've tried this before, and it doesn't always work. My big gripe with Ghost is that stealth phasing feels almost impossible to deal with in specific situations. Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong. I dunno. I like that this game gives a lot of importance to killers, but I'm starting to feel like some killers are absolutely broken on small maps. Polluted/Janitor/Stalker on Wastewater is almost a guaranteed win for the killer.
@@ajoortrucks2971 yeah i definitely understand your frustration with this, one of my biggest problems with daybreak is how unbalanced the killers are in certain maps (COIUGH COUGH STLAK ON HOISPITAL COGUHG) but sadly the most we can do is adapt and hope some changes are made in the future. if you wanna avoid this stealth phasing problem, and all ghost problems entirely, you could sacrifice xp and play as serena. kyle also works really well, and even mamo/gavin if you're fast enough
Imma suggest using showstopper on hospital, there is many vaults and people use the same looping space and i think showstopper might help kill them faster
How do you counter the silent phase as survivor? I feel like there is no possible way of knowing when ghost phases out silently other than 'seeing' her
There is no 100% counter; just communicate with the team well when Ghost is in phased form. Ghost is like Chucky from the actual DBD but Chucky is more difficult. As long as you communicate, the team would be more cautious of the Killer. You can try "buddying-up" with players that are on their last life; just like in the video, they phased instantly after killing which means the team won't know when Ghost is phased.
As a ghost main, theres no counters for her silent phase. But kyle and rayner helps, but based on maps cliffmack beach and haverhell are good counters for ghost

Be really super duper careful about your surroundings

just be super paranoid with your surroundings and make sure you aren't near any spots the ghost can silent phase to down/kill you
Looking at this map's gameplay before the nerfs make me wonder how I could've even died 😭There were strong loops everywheree
i swear silent phasing is so annoying (i love doing it)
