Oh my god you are making me relive my mambo days in New York where the best dancers in the world come from. I think I still look pretty good at my age because of all the dancing I did back then in the mid sixties to the 80s when my knees gave up after so many high heels and turns but no regrets, dancing keeps you young. So go for it.
This video is great from beginning to end! All the dancers are absolutely pro - it’s really an all star line-up. The women are in a league of their own. The energy is infectious. I use this video to give people a taste of what Latin dancing is.

@@DNAleguillou Enrique Arias is completely right: THIS IS MAMBO. You had to hear the explanation given by Celia Cruz and Tito Puente (both R.I.P.) years ago, when they were constantly interviewed concerning the movie Mambo Kings, where both appeared. Only that this is different from the mambo made famous mostly by Pérez Prado, which was such an important part of many Mexican movies, most of them great comedies, like those starred by the great Tin-Tan. That mambo came from the "allegro" part of the traditional Cuban "danzón". I also love that mambo, so I'll be looking for some Tin,-Tan movie because those people could dance, too. A lovely combination of comedy and dance. Greetings.

Tienes razón de Perez Prado.
La polisemia no forma parte del acervo lexico de algunas personas. No se entiende que el mismo significante puede tener diferentes significados. Osea, la misma palabra puede referirse a diferentes circunstancias, por ejemplo, la palabra "mambo". Y recuerdo que Pérez Prado popularizo el ritmo del mambo, pero no lo creo. Además, la palabra "mambo" en el contexto del vídeo hace referencia tanto al ambiente, tipo de música (que no necesariamente hace refrencia al ritmo cubano de mambo en sí) y estilo de baile. Salsaludos ON TWO. (Pd: tuve la suerte de ver en directo a uno de los creadores del mambo, Israel López Cachao, que también inventó las descargas... descarga como la que se escucha en la canción de Tito Puente).
