Very practical and well laid out van. In fact the best I've seen up to now. Like the storage idea in the lounge for your external chairs and tables. I think the designers have got this one spot on.

Seems a very good van. Would been nice to see more overhead cupboards around the lounge area which could have been achieved by having the bed slightly higher.
perfect motorhome superb
I was very close to ordering one of these, love the rear layout etc etc. but you put me off when you mentioned how much it rattles. Forgive me, I’ve only ever hired a motorhome once to see if we get on with them, but I couldn’t stand or sit as it were, all the way up to the highlands in one of these if it rattles all the way. Can something be done to stop these rattles?
Van conversions usually rattle less than coachbuilts and some brands are a lot better at reducing rattles than others. Base vehicles with softer suspension (Ford, Merc, MAN) are better, too. Take a test drive before you buy but recent 'vans without rattles have including Globecar, Knaus and Adria. Always stow the grill pan and oven shelves and pack your gear tightly, too
Wonderful layout. Love the videos. Can you recommend a motorhome upgrade for us. We love our eldis 120. What is brilliant is our rear lounge. Downside is having to make the bed. What are the options re having rear lounge as good as 120? Thank you.
If you want to stay compact, then have you considered a van conversion? Maybe something like one of Consort's conversions?
Otherwise, how about this Pilote?
I like the light wood finish, I don't even mind the white gloss overhead lockers, I just don't understand why manufacturers, not just Pilote but a lot of others too are choosing white or cream upholstery, it has to be the most impractical colour? The kitchen isn't bad but they are fitting twin gas burners for 2022 models, as was mentioned three would be more beneficial. The washroom is outstanding!
Worse than the pale upholsteries are the number of 'vans with light-coloured carpets! Personally, I'm not sure about all these faux leather finishes - I'd rather have real leather or a nice fabric with a stain-resistant protection

Something I've wondered about vans like this - if someone pops open the little garage hatch I take it they can just climb inside?
Yes, they could, but on a 'van of this value you'll probably be required to have a Cat 1 alarm for insurance
@@DaleRC75 Very few motorhomes come with a factory fitted alarm, I'm afraid. In a way, that can be a good thing, as the alarm can be fitted by a specialist and tailored to your needs. But it is an extra cost to consider
We have the p740 sensation which we love. We have the island bed which suits us. The downside to this type of bed for us would be...you both have to go to and get up out of bed at the same time..
True. Although the (rear lounge) Rapido 854F has drop-down beds front and rear, so that solves that issue

seven people could sit there providing they have no legs, five at a push maybe, nice rear lounge though 👍
weight limits on drop down bed?
I'm not sure on this specific model, you'd have to check with Pilote or your nearest dealer. Many are limited to 150kg, some 200kg.
Not sure about a mains socket in the bathroom 🤔 without a cover
The French are sometimes a bit more laissez faire! You'd need to use it with care
In evidence trim this model is now £68.500
All prices are going up because of a big price increase from Fiat. You might just get lucky if any dealer has a vehicle already in stock

Surely it's a great combo - the much-loved rear lounge, without the hassle of bed making every night, plus a better washroom than ANY British rival. It's not perfect but there's lots to like here
Looking at the start of the video we see this is going to be an advertorial. This is why I don't trust MMC "reviews"
Hardly, an advertorial. If you watch it, I point out the negatives with this 'van (as I do with every review). Pilote simply paid for an ad at the front. They didn't see the review before it was posted on TH-cam and had no influence over my opinions expressed in it. The day an advertiser tells me what to say, I'll stop doing this!
The worse motorhome that you can imagine..... if you are thinking in to buy one, plese rent it before to spend the money.... because it’s so bad
Good spec, great layout and you don't have to make a bed... what's so bad???
