I'm completely new to Tekken and played the demo for Tekken 8 recently. When I had my first match in Yakushima I almost fell out of my chair because of this godly tune. I can't wait to hear the entire OST.
Honestly. I can't wait to hear the full soundtracks for both rounds of mishima dojo and the seine. This game has a lot of themes that just hit. I haven't heard a miss yet.
This is so much nicer to listen to when you're not stressed out during a match XD I mean it is still hype in-game, but now I get to taste all the layers.
Demo on ps5 released today :) has this stage and two others with jin, kazuya and paul and nina being playable. I was not disappointed at all. Im even more hyped for the game now.
My favorite track in the entire demo. Man that final round goes HARD!! I get goosebumps every time I hear it. It almost distracts me from what I'm doing in a fight lol.
King in this game and king in tekken 1&2 is a different person, king in tekken 1&2 he's orphanage administrator who cares for orphanage children and train orphanage children how to fight like him,King in tekken 3 until now,he's one of the orphan child who king (tekken 1&2) treat & train, and now that orphan child is become the King that we know now,so king in this game never meet jun before
I really do hope that this area is treated with respect in the story. Like, I swear to god, I want Jin to see this place and actually break down and cry. I imagine he goes here in his mind a few times, but eventually finds himself here after failing to defeat Kazuya for the first time. Then, he feels a hand on his shoulder. A familiar hand. Jun embraces her son, and most of the story could be build up to a final battle between Kazuya and Jin. They each gather allies, and in the final battle, we see Lars, Jun, Jin, and possibly Reina join in defeating Kazuya, but not killing him. What better way to break the wheel than by turning off the fuel? For this wheel, that fuel is blood. And enough blood has been spilled. (Edit) that went way farther than I intended, but still.
Nah I like it. I hope this is what we end up getting for the story. People often act like the story shouldn't matter in a fighting game but I disagree. I think this kind of sentiment can offer a great backdrop to the atmosphere of the game. Tekken 4 went a long way in making that work as well. I mean if you can have something good in it than why not?
I hate so much when people says "this is gonna be the new Infinite Azure or Dragon's Nest" bla bla bla. Tekken 5/ Tekken 7 players only, not actual fans of the saga. Always comparing every single thing with their "favourite" games. No theme represents any Tekken never did and never will be. Pop culture is not good for any industry
1:In my personal opinion, Cnt version is better than this Cbt version. 2:In Cntv, the female voice is multiplied by beautiful plural vocal tracks, which delivers the psychedelic feeling and puts people in a vast place such as a big island named Yakushima. 3:In Cbtv, the female voice weakly supported by plural vocal tracks and therefore emphasized too much on particularly one female track makes me hard to ignore that the voice is a little girl who isn't mature enough, whereas Jun isn't a little girl... And the over-emphasized single girl voice makes me wonder whether this is so far only one young witch living on the island, endeavoring to protect the island... 4:In Cntv, the female is sacred, and sexy in the meantime. The owner of the voice doesn't demand anything form men but men crave for her.
I love the story that this theme tells. We're being brought back to a place where disaster struck and left questions for over 20 years.
Tekken 3 ogre
the mother wants to heal
but kazuya doesnt care
epic battle ensues.
Jun: Kazuya, you owe years of child support
Kazuya: He is Jin *KAZAMA* not Mishima

arena was great but they overplayed the hell out of it with all the trailers
