- Instagram (and whole internet) is filled with reels and videos promoting misinformation and pseudoscience. In this part 2 of this series Instagyan, we delve into the world of science based reels and debunk their misinformation and pseudoscience.
I am Dr. Ravi, the face of Logical Aayaam. I have a PhD in Biochemical Engineering (Masters in Biotechnology) with ton of research and teaching experience in interdisciplinary sciences, engineering and technology in multiple countries. With my knowledge and experience, I try to inculcate scientific intellect, debunk myths and bust pseudoscience (in my very little capacity). Essentially, I am trying to make YOU smart and scientific.

Unfortunately I don’t have the time or the skills to upload such videos debunking and questioning them, but I watch them regularly just to get riled up, when I am having a particularly good day, just to balance things.

I suggest that if you consume reels and podcasts, always check the comment section and read many comments, there you will find 4 out of 10 intellectuals who really care about science and facts.
The comment section is a more important thing before believing anyone.

Nice. I want to focus on Baba Ramdev's gimmick, with sugar and tulsi. What he actually did was giving Direct Suggestions to them. The believers of such kind look up to him as Religious Modality. Their Subconscious Mind's Critical Faculty switch off temporarily as pre conditioned suggestioning and notions. They are not faking it, but allowing whatever told to them. These babas and healers are good at subtle psychology tricks. Keep exposing.

The selection of study stream based on ones intelligence level is more due to societal pressure. When I was doing schooling, one of my classmate was 2nd rank holder in the 10th boards, but she took Arts stream. All of us were shocked, because society had built us to think like that. Luckily she had supportive parents and she herself had a clear goal into going to civil services, so thats why she chose to take Arts stream...

Sir, I am preparing for a competition, so because of this sometimes I listen to 432 Hz frequency for stress relief and before going to sleep I listen to low frequency of 3 Hz because I have come to know from the internet that listening to frequency heals the body from within and increases the number of neurons in the brain. I have been following this since a few days ago and I do not have deep knowledge about it. When I edit I use Davinci Resolve. My editor uses premiere pro I think. Davinci Resolve is really good and its free.
