It's on the circuit board -- the component labeled as 'fuse' 🤷‍♂(on mine it's deep behind a yellow 0.22uF capacitor).

I was able to spray contact cleaner on top of the power button without taking anything apart. Also worked for me

Hi. I have shredded Leitz Home Office P4. When turn on, play button lights, but shredded doesn't work. Do you have any idea what i must check? I check main switch and microswitch and fuse.

Try to clean the sensor...

Like @madfraga comment, I was also able to spray contact cleaner on top of the switch without disassembling the shredder. Switch works fine now. Thanks to both of you. Great video and great comment.

Omg wow 😮 thank you so much... l found this shredder in the trash and cleaned out the switch with alcohol and took it apart and clean continuity up and wallah it works 😅😊 have a great day my friend 😀
