    Thanks for SHOWING me how to deadhead Verbena. Other places only talked about it...all talk, no action! Thank You!

    THANK YOU so much for a very close-up and thorough job explaining AND showing us how. You don't know how many videos I've viewed that just TALKS about doing it... not showing! Again, many thanks!

    Thank you!!! I purchased verbena for the first time recently and before watching this, I think I may have pinched off some new blooms. I think I'm getting the hang of it...::))

    Thank you for clearing up the proper way to dead head. I always take the flower with part of the stem, but not as far back as you showed.

    Wow...what a drag....if u remove what still looks good and the replacement comes in, how soon do u have to deadhead the replacements? Its time consuming for sure.

      Just follow the stem with the dead bloom down to where it meets the main stem, pinch or snap off there.

    I just planted the same breed of verbena and they are getting leggy. Is that normal? I want more of them compact. Planted them in full sun. Thanks.

    • @Caanfloral
      @Caanfloral  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sam, this is normal as that is part of their trailing growing habit. If you don't like this, you can just pinch them off, or 'dead head' as shown in the video.

    The stuff of deadheading can be understood without the magical invocations about 'mother nature's energies' but it was a good video despite it.
