- This weekend we had the honor to teach a workshop and perform at the LoneStar Invitational 2022 dinner show. We wanted to throw it back to the golden age of country music and dancing, the 90s, and incorporate aspects of the most influential dancing figures and singers into our routine! We hope we made them proud!

Back to watch this again, firmly convinced this is the best two stepping dance routine on youtube, haven't seen anything that comes close. Simply Amazing.

@@reddirtdancing So many things. First of all, it’s evident that both of you are enjoying it which makes it enjoyable to watch. Then the implementation of all the little quirks, for example the start position where the female dancer is on the males bicep. It was especially nice to see the basic two step implemented into such an advanced routine, it makes the overall performance so grounded. Furthermore, it feels like I am watching a story play out. The music choice went perfect with the performance as well. But some of the simplest moves were some of the most enjoyable because usually in these advanced routines it’s all about complex moves and tricks - but you two incorporated the beautiful basics into a complex routine.
I’m just starting out to learn, I hope to dance like this some day.
Thank you so much!!! The dance has to always include some sort of recognizable rhythm to the dance or at least throw a basic in there from time to time!
