What happens when 4 guys with vastly different whiskey tastes and experience review a whiskey? You get a great characterization of that whiskey from multiple perspectives. That's what Advantage After Hours sets out to accomplish, reviewing a different whiskey each time.
Meet the Guys in this Episode:
• Justin (The Adventurer) - Has hundreds of bottles, all of them open. Current favorite whiskey: Penelope Architect or Chattanooga Founders.
• Matt (The Upstart) - Familiar with the basics and excited about branching out. Favorite whiskey: Anything from Buffalo Trace.
• Jim (The Traditionalist) - Open to trying anything, but really just likes a Jack & Coke. Favorite whiskey: Jack Daniel's.
• Nate (The bass player from The Empty Pockets) - Likes the animals...Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Whistlepig, and Monkey Shoulder.
In Episode 6, we taste and review Batch 1 from Fierce Whiskers Distillery in Austin, Texas. Their brand new bourbon is aged just under 4 years and bottled at 98 proof.
