This song was written by Changbin and Bangchan actually! If I understood correctly (I don't speak Korean, sadly), jjam means 'fun' in Korean so there's actually a double meaning. The chorus saying "I got no jam? You got no jam? We gotta jjam" is an euphemism of them just having fun "jamming" to their song. So it's actually a three-meaning song? They're jjamming to their jam about jam...😂
"Jammie" means fun. 😁
@@rugr82day 1. " 잼 (jam)" is a shortened word of 재미 (jjami= fun) and a commonly used word amongst younger generation. Honey jam (ggul jam)= extra fun; no jam= no fun. 2. " dori dori jam jam" are moves that Koreans teach babies (shaking heads twice- doridori; grabbing fists twice- jam jam)
@@horizon3424 thank you for the explanation! I gotta learn the language, this is so much jjam 😉
i love how they have the section for each racha (vocalracha, danceracha, and 3racha) SO GOOD!!! jjam is my favorite on the album and i love the choreo!!!
I thought it was a giant jelly donut in the back too but it's supposed to be that big bowl of green jam they were mixing. It just started dancing and jamming behind them. 😂
you guys cracking up over the lack of ''indowindows'' was so funny 😭
You are so funny 😂. Thank you for your react 👍👍👍. Stray kids never disappoint. JJAM is insane 🔥🔥🔥
I did not get this song for the first time but when they did live performances, they were showcasing the vocals, the choreography and the rap. In love with it now
What an insane M/V !
I believe Jjam in Korean means fun spelled (jaemi) and there's also a Korean slang term based on the word for honey jam which is (ggul jam) used as way to say have some more fun. So there are several references throughout the song to say basically say just listen to our Jam aka song & have fun aka cut looose stop worrying about everything & have a good time. They also use the sticky aspect of peanut butter & Jelly (aka jam) to how they see themselves as a group sticking together as they finished this song right around the time they renewed their contracts with JYP so that's another reference. Plus they rap style that they are using in this song is often referred to in Korea as "sticky" so this is again another representation. The overall song I think is meant to be a funny double & triple play on words. 😊❤❤❤❤
Lol fun, horror crack up 😂😂😂😂❤❤
Felix doing JYP dance 😂😂😂😂
4:08 my thouhgts exactly!! haha I already loved the song and the MV made it so much better
This was hilarious, loved it lol, love this song and the mv
also if you still want to know the inspo behind it, they have intros to their albums where they briefly explain the songs!
This was how Nickelodeon made slime back in the day, actually.
