- Welcome to another episode of squishy makeovers, where I transform ugly, used, old, dirty, cheap or unwanted squishies (donated by my subscribers) into my own creations. I repair, paint and cut away for hours on end to complete these. Hopefully you like them. Get used to lots of rainbow and sprinkles, because I am addicted to both!

1. CAN I SEND YOU SQUISHIES?
So many generous people have sent me their unwanted squishies so I actually have a lot to work on already, BUT if you desperately want to, you can request my mailing address in the email ALLLL the way at down in the description (sorry for the traveling), make sure to read the disclaimer down there as well.
2. ARE SQUISHIES RETURNED TO THE SENDERS AFTER THE MAKEOVER?
No. These squishies are sent as donations to the series because they were damaged, and no longer wanted. Everyone has been informed in advance that squishies would not be returned. It would be waaay too complicated/expensive and massively time consuming to keep track of everyone and return each squishy. I'm just one person!
3. WHAT PAINT DO YOU USE?
I use fabric paint. Fabric paint is meant to stretch, so it is perfect for squishing! Any brand will work fine, but I mainly use Tulip. You can find it at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, A.C. Moore, Walmart, Joann Fabrics, and Online.
5. WILL FABRIC PAINT CRACK?
The matte fabric paint is more likely to crack after lots of squishing. Slick fabric paints never crack. But there are benefits to both. I usually mix the two paints together to get the best of both worlds.
6. CAN I USE ACRYLIC PAINT ON SQUISHIES?
I would not recommend that. Acrylic paint will either make the squishy hard, or it will crack and flake off very easily.

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 26 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try LOL).

Ok I actually know this one! The original story of the Easter bunny is that she was a bird originally, but her wings froze in winter so she couldn’t fly. The goddess of spring, Eostre, came across her in the forest and decided to end the bird’s suffering by turning her into a hare (the anglicised) version changes it to a rabbit). However, the new hare was so sad that she had lost all of her bird qualities that the goddess once again took pity on her and made it so that once a year, around the latter end of March, the hare could lay eggs again.
Kind of a strange story, but quite cool! (There are other versions, this is just the one I know).

chick backstory: her golden egg was magical. she then hatched under a flowering tree, and the magic of the egg combined with the flowers turned her pink. now, she owns a flower nursery, so she’s always covered in flowers. she is wearing the bunny ears to look festive for her customers

Fun fact Easter bunny origins for a German religious symbol (I think correct if I’m wrong) but the goddess of fertility and spring wanted to make kids happy and kids love bunny’s so she called one of her song bird (which lay colorful eggs) and turned the bird into a bunny to make children happy which also ended up with the rabbit laying eggs.
The fact that big corporate companies watch Moriah and want to collab with her, is evvvveeeerrryyyytttthhhhhiiinnngggg. I love when people acknowledge amazing content creators. Love how Moriah keeps on thriving by simply being her amazing self without getting into drama for likes and views.

The only difference between Gesso and white acrylic paint is that it is thinner. Surfaces are more stiff because it dries hard. In Gesso, the surface is prepared (or “primed”), so that it can be painted with acrylic paint. As a result, the paint would soak into the weave of the canvas if it weren't gessoed

Yep
one tip for metallic paint is to add a little bit of white, brown, yellow (any goldish colors or colors that look good with gold) opaque paint into the metallic one. it looses some of the shine but then you can do a few more plain metallic paint layers over it. hope this helps

I have very translucent paint too. So what I do when I need to use it is take some regular acrylic that has a similar color, and put that on first, and then put on a couple of layers of the translucent paint.

When doing metallic, try mixing the metallic matte paint with the metallic slick paint. I tried it, and it works! Yw for the time saver :)

If you look at the before of the bunnies in the egg then you can see that the one with the chocolate part of the neapolitan ice cream was the rabbit with the paw in the middle
