Nina West really owned this challenge. Every challenge where she got to produce, improvise, and write, she slayed. Her performance in the magic show is still on the highest level of any challenge performance in RPDR herstory. Here, she not only wrote a lot of it for the other queens, she also anchored her team during the filming, played a different part than herself, and she was hilarious. That is why they have professional performers juding, because they could really see what Nina brought here.
Nina really deserves the Miss Congeniality win. Who doesn't adore her?

Having Vanjie come back for another season was one of the best moves RuPaul made. So entertaining and a laugh riot. Bringing back Shangela in S3 was great too)❤️
I wouldn't be surprised if Vanjie ends up on a season of All-Stars at some point. And as a competitor, not a Lip-Sync Assassin like she was last time. I don't think she'll be on 6, but 7 maybe?
What’s ironic is both Vanjie and Shangela were top 5 on their returning seasons. (Excluding then bringing back Carmen Carerra after Shangela’s elimination)

Like you could really see how much Mercedes wanted to nail this and help her team win. That is so precious
I think she gave it her all and it looked liked to me she was having a good time and that's a big part of what makes a good performance.
I think she had it for the most part just the one line she had she said spirits instead of spears. But she still did better than EVERYBODY on the other team lol

I think she didn't win because it was an acting challenge and she played herself essentially but with a britney obsession. Whereas Nina kept things going as the host and made an entire character out of it.
