I appreciate the creative approach you took in presenting this recipe. It's something I can enjoy for days without feeling bored or repetitive. Using True Elements Rolled oats definitely elevated the texture and flavor, making it a wholesome and satisfying breakfast option.

Thanks so much for this. I just made my first batch and will be eating it in about 6 hours or so. I used your base recipe and added 1/4 cup of blueberries (20 calories) and a number of spices to it - a tiny splash of vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom powder, and a little sea salt. Looking forward to seeing how it goes. I'll possibly drop some peanut butter in there if it goes well. Always love your videos - really love that you focus on the whole foods versus the powders, flours, and artificial sweeteners that many TH-cam healthy eating channels use as a crutch.

This is often the best meal of my day:
1/2 cut oats, 1 cup oat/almond milk, half banana, tbsp peanut butter, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon, tiny bit of maple syrup. In a pyrex or mason jar overnight. In the morning, i'll add flax meal (otherwise it makes the texture too glue-y).

The recipe is great. Just one suggestion though, before using the oats, soak them for around 15 mins in water. Strain the oats and rinse them and then use them in the recipe. Soaking and rinsing the oats before using ensures that the phytic acid is released and discarded. Phytic acid is a nutrient absorption inhibitor.
