Imagine how exhausted and hella tired Michael must be to tour all over the globe singing and dancing for almost 2 hours at each concert. Not only that Michael rehearsed every song again and again multiple times for hours and hours and hours for a perfect output. We all know how much of a perfectionist Michael is. He would often go on tour for four days without sleeping and eating much 😢 tbh, if there was any other artist in Michael's place, I don't think they could've survived that hell.
Hannah, I know you didn't like this performance as much as you thought you would, but after reading the comments and information from our fellow moonwalkers I think you'll enjoy this performance more in the future. LOVE YOU and KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! ❤️

Not only that. Dangerous tour was going on for a half of year to a year. Here ia the dates
June 27, 1992, to November 11, 1993.
He decided to sing it in a lower key to save his vocals for what turned out to be his longest tour.
That makes a lot of sense!!
1) It’s sung in a lower Key down cause MJ singing “Dirty Diana” in its original key was impossible on the BAD World Tour simply cause where it was placed on the setlist
2) MJ had Lupus which henders the lung capacity
3)MJ was singing in Staccato which is why lines were shortened kinda like when he does “Smooth Criminal”✍🏽👑✨🎯💯(I love this performance tho MJ would’ve performed this better on the This Is It Tour tho cause by that time he would’ve have lots of vocal rest)

Thanks for this wonderful comment, I was going to say the same thing. There are many people who don't know about all these things and those who watch this performance immediately judge him and say that "he's not a good singer". What annoys me the most is that those people who judge Michael don't even try to find out why he sings like that, they just say "he's not a good singer"... WHAT🤦♂️
Was a record setting tour , poor guy will have been shattered , show was non stop dancing and sang live on this tour . 16 month run , playing 123 shows all over the world to over 4 million amazing people .. and yeah he speeded it up coz he probably just wanted to get it thro with and go back to his hotel and chill , and this song was usually towards the end and his bad tour shows usually were 2 hrs plus
Great reaction Celine! MJ's genius to push through exhaustion since he'd lose so much weight during this tour was admirable. The standard of giving his all every performance despite physical tiredness was a dedication that was and is unparalleled!

Singing during his puberty could have irrevocably damaged his voice. Plus, during the Bad tour, he had already 20 years of professional and intense voice performances, and never really gave it a rest. RIP Brother Michael ❤✨

Bad I don't know if you have ever seen the full show, but you should look up rock with you, especially the beginning and the extra notes, high notes he adds at the end Now it's just simple voice preserve on dirty diana . 123 stops across 18 months and 4 continents. 7 sold out shows in weekly alone. I refuse to believe the man is human he is was a God on earth.
He for sure had a gift from God, he used it well. People don't take God's Gifts well
He really was sick here but he didn't want to cancel this concert. Try watch Dirty Diana wembley 88, and see how it should be live. The emotional charge of the song makes ppl think that his voice is tired, it's not, even here where he doesn't sound perfect.
