A bit about me:
graemelawson.com/
usule top standard, great commentery im still going to do the NC500 because of your amazing vidio on the ride and stuf to take.
Aw man, that means so much - really appreciated Timothy. You'll have a blast!
Wow, was not even aware of this place. Another to add to the list. Sometimes i wish i lived closer to that area of the UK.
Hardly anyone knows about it which is great for whoever decides to ride it! Hopefully it gains in popularity though and encourages more commerce to the area!
Great video ,watched the nc500 to ,I’ve done both of these and relived them watching your videos, my wife is named after the ailsa craig and she was so excited to see it when I showed her your video. Well done for both the videos
Thanks so much Chris, and that's so cool about your Mrs name 😎 Got another few videos coming out this winter from trips earlier this year, just need to get round to editing them 🤯
Informative video. The route map is really handy.
Something I hadn’t realised is that the SC300 is actually pretty well west of the Northumberland250.
I’m planning to do that in June. (I have 10 days in a Microcamper and am now thinking of combining both of these routes for a mega trip that’ll be longer than the NC500 that we did this March.
Lovely video thank you
We are touring the west coast in sept, so will take a few roads from this video thanks 👍🏼
Nice one, hope you have a blast!
Dear Graeme,
Thanks for the video, it reminded me of times past when I used to live in bridge of Weir.
I've now been in Ontario Canada for over 50 years and do much of my riding on gravel roads in our area.
Cheers!
Very cool Niall! I've been to see family in Kingston many, many times and love it. Even did a short trip while there on my uncles old 1300 VStar 😎
Good stuff mate, I noticed you glossed over the, ahem, glorious Three Towns and our spectacular view of Arran!! Back to watch your NC 500 video now. Cheers
Ahhh, a man of culture! I was in your neck of the woods back in May, showing someone around the west coast instagram.com/p/CPOpBX3LsGI/
Another cracking video - and a cracking looking route! It's one for the list for sure.
Cheers Mark, it's a cracking route and not too much of a commitment given it can be done over 2 days and 1 night!
I didn't know about this route, so I will add it to the list, thank you. I rode the A713 from Ayr to Castle Douglas in Sept last year.... that's one that deserves a return trip to try again, it really opened my eye to Dumfries and Galloway, which I think is a hidden gem.
Yeah it is and you're right about the hidden part. You never hear people talking about it up here past the odd trip to Port Patrick or similar. Definitely add it to the list as you say!
Ahhh, good man, ya made another video. Said you've got a knack for it and it shows. Great stuff Graeme, we're gonna be doing that and a few more roads one year so this came in handy. Stay safe both of you👍
Thanks so much for the support mate, it's such a buzz. Glad it'll actually be of some use!
@@blippety I watched it again with the subtitles on. It's quite comical when you see what it thinks you are actually saying🤣
😂😂
Brilliant👌
I'm using your NC500 video as a guide for my own trip up there next year. Looks like I'll have to plan another trip for this route too!
Haha definitely! Is that a good or a bad thing! 😂
@@blippety definitely a good thing haha
Your videos are excellent, Graeme - well filmed and edited. I hope you produce many more and that your channel grows. Safe biking. All the best.
Mate, thanks so much for the kind words. Got a few ideas and plan to upload something next week, still on the bike but a little different. Cheers!
I hope you’ve got a new Satnav by now 😀
🤓😎🏍💨💨💨💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦thanks for sharing
Cheers again John 😎
Great video mate! I live in Dalbeattie you will of passed through it when heading for southerness lighthouse, I’ve got my motorbike test in may and this will be good to do😁 Thanks
Perfectly placed to get out on these epic roads! Good luck in May mate 😎
Great video (longer would have been even better!). Have planned 5 days in June round the west coast with a couple in the south west so this guide is much appreciated. Thank you!
I know, ended up a third of the length of the NC500 vide. Granted that was 5 days, 4 nights and this was just 2 days with 1 overnight.
June will be a brilliant time to go, hope you enjoy it!
Hi Graeme - because I subscribed I’m now seeing more of ur vids - this time the sc 300 really enjoyed this “food for thought “ working my way through a bottle of Bladnock 11yr old just now - does life get any better than motorbikes and whisky 🥃?? Loving your Ducati monster - respect to all biking genres- but have you ever considers an adventure bike ?
“🥃”...
I'm about a quarter way down a Bladnoch 11 and half left of a Bladnoch Vinaya here, the 11 is great!
The adventure bikes seem a bit sensible for me at the moment (although the quick ones are indeed rapid) but wouldn't put it past me off in the future!
@@blippety as you don’t live too far away Graeme - perhaps a meet up when the weather improves - talk whisky and bikes. A blast to Largs and a coffee ☕️👍
