@@marcosantucci6404 Not once was a comparison made between two different versions of Messi... you brought that conversation on. This Messi that you see now in the last few weeks is not the Messi that you saw even at the latest world cup which was 4-5 months ago. As a Barcelona fan, I hope we can construct a game around him where he can relax in possession and not have to receive the ball in positions where he isn't as efficient. Still though, I must admit he lost the ball noticeably a lot more than usual and looks rather sluggish to the point where one can safely assume that he is showing his age. That is fine as we are all mortals but to deny that by claiming that it is unfair to compare him to his older version is besides the point because objectively you cannot deny that the wear and tear is clearly noticeable.
