The thing that makes me love the junk yard so much is that you can feel the presence of the shape, it not being one person, but multiple people, beings, and things that'll always come after one another.
Evil will get a grip on the matching vessel and teach the mannerisms of the creature that was before. The monster that plagues not only Haddon field, but this world we live in. As Laurie said, evil doesn't die it just changes shape. The shape of evil. And that's everyone around.
