I wanted this game to have a true European Extreme mode, where the actual game is more difficult like MGS2 European Extreme. And then you can choose if the game ends on alert or not.

I haven't done a Foxhound run since Snake Eater on PS2. Never did it on subsistence or any remastered versions. Now I'm gonna have to because of you haha

I have all the achievements on the new collection except for big boss and fox hound, and mgs1 all vr missions. Seeing this, im going to try.

At 8:20 there's 3 guards in the area. If you keep getting caught after the first two, the third one you ran behind spots you.
It is safe to get up close to him and slam him. By the time they investigate him, you're gone if you book it. Get up close while cooking, stop, R2 then slam (hold circle while moving).
That's just for extra insurance. Between the two guys I was caught a lot following this.

Some more advice for bad players like me.
If you're blowing up barrels and a guard is in the way and you can't get a clear shot, it's okay to shoot them AS LONG AS the killing blow isn't from your shot, like where you first see the end.
For the Fear fight, I've had him run away from me before the flash goes off. If that happens to you, then wait until the Fear turns around, then proceed as normal. Make sure he actually sees the flashbang though
On the two rolls bit, if you get the first roll but can't aim at the barrels quick enough, the guard will notice you. You'll be spotted even if you shoot the barrels and kill the guy that saw you. In that case, shoot the arm, THEN the barrel. This is if you keep getting spotted after shooting the barrel, if you can get through that bit without it then don't worry about it.
For the return trip to the warehouse, an alternative strategy is to instead shoot the first guy in front of you, then tiptoe and shoot the other guy in the head. Use this strat if you can't handle the execution well.
I'm going to be posting all my alternative, safe but slower suggestions. We have a time limit of 5 hours. You have wiggle room to still achieve Foxhound if you don't wanna spend too much time in one area

i still get caught in 08:17, just when i take the turn to the right, i am playing then master collection, did something change? maybe this strat is not wworking any more? this guide still works for the game running at 60fps?

i simply cannot get the pain going to work. he goes south a million percent. especially the grenades go into the water 80% of the time which makes this plan impossible for me...the headshots are not a big issue

is there a reason why in my version the ammo on the starting platform of the pain battle is ak 47 instead of mk 22 ??

It’s because you picked up the weapon earlier. This is why you should follow the guide strictly.

Yes because if you do save and load up that save, a cutscene will start with the end waiting for you to wake up and knock you out with his sniper and take you to a cell.

si si sogna pure. hai fatto vedere european estreme e poi hai fatto il video a facilissimo. e neanche a facilissimo riesci a completare in 1 ora e 21 minuti
