Appreciate the info!!! I’d love to hear you talk about how you transitioned into concert photography. Also, are there photographer friendly venues in the Chi to start that journey. (I’m in the south burbs). Stay warm on those Chicago streets!!! #subbed
Yooooo thanks for watching! As far as how I got into concert photo/video, it was actually through a friend who was opening up for an artist duo. He had me come on as media for him and I fell in love with it from there. It took a while before I actually started taking it seriously but after covid, I hit the ground running with it. I had to work my way up slowly to bigger and bigger artists. I may do a more in depth video on this, but I would definitely recommend reaching out to openers or photographers that you know are already working with an artist. A lot of times, this will allow you to get a pass even if it means shooting the show for free. Try starting small with local/bar venues (Schubas, Lincoln Hall, etc.) and go from there! I hope this was helpful!
They're pretty close in all aspects honestly, the a7iii has a viewfinder while the a7c does not. The a7c is a little cheaper but there's not a ton of difference otherwise
