    Robert, thank you for this excellent video.I'm just about to start with Musio and you've helped at just the right moment. I mus congratulate you on the quality of your presentation. Apart from technically good sound ,vision and editing, your explanations are clear, with just the right approach of friendliness - no gimmicks, no gushing, just you. There are many TH-cam presenters who could learn much from you. And yes, from what I've heard and seen Musio is fantastic. Some really serious pro users have pointed out some limitations. Apart from nobody's forcing them to use it, in many ways, Musio is in its infancy, and is being developed and improved continually and users or subscribers get these updates for free - no upgrade costs. So thanks again.

    I don't understand why people don't like Musio for the price.

      Many people expect everything for free. They balk at an app that costs $5 USD, but complain about ads.
      I recommend TH-cam Premium, but people complain about the price.

    I love the explore tab. Having several options for a legato horn is terrific to dial in the sound I am hearing for a part.

    Does musio 1 come with the NKS ready versions or it is all packed into the musio plugin only?

    The only thing I wasn't happy about is that the word builder is missing for the voxos library, but it's great all the same.

    hi, it means i can use all of the cinesample stuff forever with musio 1?

    • @svendkorsgaard9599
      @svendkorsgaard9599 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Yes, but only everything that was released until 2023. For everything that gets released after that, you will need to upgrade to Musio 2.
      Every year or so, there will be a new musio, musio 1, musio 2, musio 3 and so on... which will include all instruments released up until that year.

    • @musio.official
      @musio.official  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes! Musio 1 includes the entire Cinesamples catalog of instruments as well as other Musio exclusive libraries released in 2023. And as @svendkorsgaard9599 mentioned, there will be additional upgrades once a year or so.

      @@musio.officialI'm curious about the upgrade prices... I'm tempted to get musio 1 but what I'm interested the most is the upcoming ethnic world instruments. So if the future upgrade prices will be something like $ 299 or more I better wait for the next version...

    But how you get back form the instrument tab th-cam.com/video/jNZRZOeYfDc/w-d-xo.html to the instrument library if you want to choose a different articulation/instrument?! you need to press the the catalog then, scroll to find the library again, then scroll to find your preset again.. this is such a workflow Nightmare!!! (in the first version it wasn't like this.. Please fix, add a back button to the library)

    First, Happy new year dear friends. Congratulation for your wonderful work updating Musio libraries, but again guys, I have 83 libraries on my Musio catalog and all of them received updates - GREAT - but its more then 1000 single instruments that I would need to update one by one. This is absolutely a nightmare and I will not doing this anymore, because last time (2 weeks ago) I spend more then 3 hours clicking on every instruments update.
    Looking forward to see when you will make out lives easier. When you will add at least "update your entire library" in case you are not able to add "update your entire catalog". I just update few libraries trough NI Access in less than 2 clicks guys. Are you punished us or what? I cannot understand what is going on and Im already start feeling sad about my investment in Musio.
    Come on guys, you better than that! Don't you?

    • @musio.official
      @musio.official  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there! I totally understand your frustration with this, and I will say that giving an option to update/download all with one click is definitely a highly requested feature and something that's in our development pipeline.
      The reason that instruments don't automatically update is to make sure projects continue to load the same way every time. Whether an instrument update includes new features that aren't available with a previous version or has more subtle changes like gain curve adjustments, if updates were automatic there is a strong chance that an old project using a previous version of an instrument wouldn't play back as expected when loaded again.
      That said, we understand the importance of an update all option, and it's something we'll be turning our attention to as soon as we finish implementing a few other app features such as multiple mic mixes.
      Thanks for sticking with us!

      @iMacTube 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We understand too..., and I personally apreciate your work in Musio, but its 2 years guys... also, add this future you will make our lives easier and also give us the chance which instrument, library or catalog will decide to update. We already know our projects and we are able to decide what kind of update we need. In case I would like to update right now my entire catalog, what? Take 3-5 hours again to do so? Again, I hope you will add this future at soon is possible.

  • @iMacTube
    @iMacTube 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    When you will add "Download or Update your entire Library" this future its something that we need like we need oxygen guys. Update or download "step-by-step" every single instrument are really frustrating and taking a lots of time... Would be this year?

    • @iMacTube
      @iMacTube 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I just downloading Artist Series Voces8 - its 85 instruments... step by step will taking me 25 min. I will make me a coffee first. See you later...

    • @iMacTube
      @iMacTube 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Come on guys, I just seeing that lots of library receive update, thats fantastic, but I would need to update hundreds of instruments step-by-step. This is a bad-dream... If you consider my opinion, just add 3 futures: 1) Update entire catalog (thats include all the libraries and instruments) 2) Update just specific library, an 3) select multiple instruments and update (or download). It's amazing Musio but it's literally a nightmare when we need to update something. In my opinion, add a future like Native Access has, "UPDATES" will stop our bad-dream... pls

    • @musio.official
      @musio.official  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your suggestions! We're definitely looking into implementing features that address issues like the ones you've mentioned 😁.

    • @iMacTube
      @iMacTube 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      we thank you guys, because this kind of features isn’t just indispensable but need to be one of the first feature. I’m working with OT, Spitfire, Heavyocity, 8Dio, NI and more - all this Companies has this futere on theirs “portals” from the first day… Musio has arrived 2 years ago on January 2022. Do you need more time to add a simple feature like this? Well, we will wait… meantime Happy new year 🎊🎆🎈

    Musio is really nice and great for the price. Only thing is, I can't mix anything electronic with it. I don't have the option to quantize so the samples seem off. I literally layered staccato strings with a pluck synth doing arpeggios and it was so off and laughable lol. And don't worry, I like my orchestras to be off the grid, just when I do super short notes I expect the orchestra to hit the note a little better...I went back to my Nucleus. Also I don't know what it is, but the bass clarinets and bassoons just seem either out of tune, or horribly mixed. I can't mix it with symphonic metal. It seems weird in the background. I also don't like the flutes and piccolos. Its too in your face sounding. I have to really lower the volume on them and boost my low woodwinds. Maybe I just don't like the woodwinds and strings. I haven't had much problem with the brass though. This is only for theme scoring, and nothing else, which is sad. Might be able to do symphonic metal with it...if you can mix and do surgery to the woodwinds. But any other genre is out of question.
