This is why when I do an Alaskan cruise I will get a room with a balcony again, too many people that just have to run their mouths constantly, nobody can just be quiet and enjoy nature. I was focused on the way the water continually hits the bottom of the glacier to the right of where the first piece fell. That just didn’t seen natural. I do appreciate the fact that nobody screamed and there was no cruise director talking over the pa…that would totally ruin it for me. For those that are complaining that this was boring, I am sure for the ones there it was pretty exciting to be there to see it in person. Tours don’t control how the glacier behaves so oftentimes there is no fabulous calving going on when people are there to witness it. Just seeing these glaciers in person is amazing.
