As an idea, try drilling a couple of holes around the bottom inch of the bottle (using the right tools of course) and use a keyring to hang incense . Burns nicely and keeps all the ashes contained

@@nshaaaa , u know the long incense sticks? Shove the stem of one into a round, metal keyring... drop the incense into the bottle (the keyring will stay outside of the bottle, sitting on top of the opening). Adding some holes down near the bottom of the bottle, on the side walls, would let oxygen in (to prevent the incense from snuffing out) & will help release the scent.
