I have lost track of the doors often, even walked back into a bottomless pits. I do the doors in a certain order now to try to help remember. You were asking in a previous video about the green coins on the floor, not sure if anyone told you yet. I noticed when playing that when you see the green coins it means turtleboy can be rescued on that floor. Small piece of red hair means the witch can be found on that floor, a piece of blue fabric for the old sage, and gray fabric for a peasant. Also, I think you passed the glass marble at 33:31, so you know what it looks like.
Nobody told me about the green coins! That's amazing and I'm pinning this comment. Thank you so much for sharing and I'm glad to hear it's not just me that gets lost (and walks into pits).
I really didn't have much interest in this game when you first started playing it but kept watching, thinking if nothing else, your voice is great to listen to just having a conversation with your viewers as you play... You have since shown me what a good game this actually is and it's currently waiting in my steam wishlist.
@@The8Myth8 Dude... That's such a great call. In the moment, I'm watching the hourglass and that same monkey is running around in my brain yelling "OMG! OMG! OMG!" 😂
Came here to say this, you don’t have to keep going back to try to get them over pits and past traps, they will just appear in the next room when you go through the door
I think the golden potion can turn mosters or possibly stuffs into gold, and if you drink one potion, and drink another same potion before the ability disappear, you will have that ability forever.
He is not wrong if you drink two potions of the same kind you keep the ability you were set up for a perfect run with the witch cause you can ask her for her strongest potion and get a second for free and have the ability till you die
try to remember more i would say. use the trumpet when you have it and not run away. drink the 2nd strenght potion, just in case. pick up the beehive when you dont have a helmet, you must have walked past alot of them in the end of the video
Hey, Goat! Thanks for posting daily videos of your gameplay in the tower! I do wonder though - what if you tossed the light blue potion (the one which turns monsters back into humans) at the monster in the cave? Maybe some kind of a unique interaction could happen.
God... That is a fantastic idea! Would love to try this sometime. It's one of those things where everything needs to go correctly, but if given the opportunity, I'd LOVE to try that. Thanks for sharing the approach!
I am noticing the faces on the companions. Depending on what they make for a face, they will likely do the favors you ask them to do. Like in one video, you asked Hubert to go in a door and he said no. Reason why his face was upset.
@@GoatForceGaming Oh wait nvm, the dev clarified that the change was intentional. Now the bee immunity is exclusive to the Beekeeper Hat worn by the monsters found in those beehive rooms.
You can use the cure potion (tooth and leak) to turn monsters (or brooms apparently) into human followers. Thats how i made a little army and killed evilicus. You dont really get anything for killing him as far as i can tell though.
@@GoatForceGaming Also, you can throw coins into the witch so she'd give you some potions of hers if you ask (yes, you can interact with her). Throwing coins into turtle dude will couse his parents to cure faster (you know it's enough when the turtle dude changes the shape of his eyes). Throwing coins into random dude will lead to almost nothing, accept he will hang with you in the tavern and will appear on the tavern loading screen. Throwing coins into the mentor dude - I don't know) Maybe you find out. And there is no need to rush all the way to the door from the smashing hummer imp, it's enough just to use stairs to change the floor or to jump through the chasm (he can't jump). Oh and you CAN beat the main imp. It's not the matter how many times he is stunlocked, it's the gamage you deal, hp bar is finite). Thank you for the content!
I wonder if the pineapple on a stick is a reference to Dungeon Crawler Carl. It’s the only place I remember that fruit cudgel being mentioned other than in this game.
At 16:43 you can actually stand opposite to the pole where the trap or banana lies and just hit with the club. You will get rid of these obstacles without jumping. I don't know if there is a minimal length the weapon you use has to be. I think with bare hands it won't work. But with the club it works 100%
Why did you leave the magic stick? It's a marvelous secondary weapon that can also trip levers at a distance and knock things off poles, basically a good ranged weapon when something isn't rushing directly at you. Also good against the riddle master as well as umbilicus
It doesn't benefit you to send your companions in to explore doors because they might die and you gain much more when they are part of your group and helping you fight then if they simply explore a door by themselves
Always shake the wizards they drop magic lamps and you missed a special skull headed wand I've never seen it before the common ones have a star I bet it is more powerful and worth a lot of coins in town
Dont kill the old you in the cave, instead at times when you know your screwed when he gives you the option, make a group of old you sitting in the cave
1:48 So long there is plants(to pollinate), a queen, he want her palace AKA where she live. The answer was Beehive. 7:40 ok that one, I am as confused as you.
I have such a great time with it and I hope the videos inspire people to dive in themselves and give it a go. It's extremely challenging, but lots of fun. I'm glad to be helping provide it exposure.
@@GoatForceGaming it definitely looks like fun but a bit repetitive I think they have a good gameplay loop they just need to add content and extra variety for longevity
@@JoelMiller77 I hope they add to it. That will keep me coming back. I want to see what else the village has to offer once we have a large enough coin stash.

Beehive is the first riddle! Plants propagating is pollen and nectar, the queen’s palace is a beehive
The second riddle could have been a mousetrap

100%. And the first was likely the bee hive
Totally valid

Dude your companions if still alive will appear when you go through a door if th3y are trapped like at a pit or something
Came here to say this, you don’t have to keep going back to try to get them over pits and past traps, they will just appear in the next room when you go through the door
The golden 2 handed sword felt so powerful it basically singlehanded finished the run, and I escaped like 3 allies, it was wild.
Good job! I have to consider it for next time. I just really loved the build I had in that moment. Sometimes I just don't want to change any of it.
I think the golden potion can turn mosters or possibly stuffs into gold, and if you drink one potion, and drink another same potion before the ability disappear, you will have that ability forever.
No kidding! Wow! 😲
And if you have find a door that leads you to the next floor, and you find another door in the same floor, it's a hundred percent a trap

The Beehive is supposed to be make bees ignore you but I think devs might have accidentally broken it this patch.

@@GoatForceGaming Oh wait nvm, the dev clarified that the change was intentional. Now the bee immunity is exclusive to the Beekeeper Hat worn by the monsters found in those beehive rooms.
Lock that goes from 9 to 3... lock and key I assume? Cause you can turn the key in the lock from left (9:00) to right (3:00).
It should have been a clock and a root 😂
That would be funny
In my own adventuring, if you take the same potion twice before the first wares off, you keep the ability until you die.
you know he hammer guy that runs into the wall? his flattened body is a decent weapon with obvious reach~ it is two-handed though...

U should more often ask your party members to stay back, like for example on the button at 16:22 or 57:16
If you do everything evilicus asks of you in a run and keep him sweet he wont try and fight you when you get to the exit
By the way you can use the bees inside the beehive as long range weapons. Also the horn is good against bats bees and the monsters in the dark
Why did you leave the magic stick? It's a marvelous secondary weapon that can also trip levers at a distance and knock things off poles, basically a good ranged weapon when something isn't rushing directly at you. Also good against the riddle master as well as umbilicus

Apparently bats are edible
do you have any idea what the book that's always inside of the wall that is broken open by the hammer guy is used for??
