Genius ! I love this "stone". Reminds me of Amazonite...even with the bit of tan. Looks very authentic. Thanks for sharing !!

Thanks Laurie... yes that’s the good thing with the stone effects a little bit of “over baked” translucent doesn’t detract from it. 😂

I was called monkey hands as a child because my hands were so wrinkly. They still are but now it’s age appropriate.
    Lovely work!

Love how that turned out Kathryn. Interesting how the turquoise clay has changed colour in the different pieces. 🐨

I love your faux stone videos!! And then the final necklaces you make with them are just gorgeous❣️ I also like that you make long, step by step tutorials. They are so helpful when I go watch them again as I try to make something like what you have made. I finally got Cernit Translucent because you achieve such great results with it. Then I splurged and got all of the metallics. They are so fun to play with!! Thank you so much for continuing to share you work and your spontaneous experiments 🙏 It’s all fun for the cold, winter days 😁

Hi Kathryn, I’m surprised by the amount of darkening with the cernit translucent. I’ve just bought a large block of translucent assuming the colour didn’t change much. The colour change looks great on your piece, in fact better than if there hadn’t been any. I’m curious.

hi Annette, as i say in the vid i think i slightly over cooked it ha ha , id do a test swatch so you know the time and temp you personally need, 5 mins makes a difference to any trans clay, ive tested a few now x
