With utmost respect for his works of life, I chant this song today so that it may live on.

Selassie was a tyrant and used religious beliefs in him to strengthen his rule , Marcus Garvey upon whos prophesies Rastafarianism is built, ridiculed Selassie for his part and practice in slavery and the perpetuation thereof in Ethiopia and further into Africa. Marcus Garvey also ridiculed him for being a tyrant in general and a complete sell out. Bob Marley then inflated this mans mythology and overshadowed the reality of this false Messiah.
