could you help me understand how her kit works

Her skill one prioritize damage to enemies which has leaf stack on them, so the bounce damage will go to who have the most leaf stack, she can increase her own attack bar once she has a full stack on the enemy so she can move from 0 to 100 if u max stacks from he passive. Her passive does some other things as well. Her third skill gives the team base defense and herself. She also get some damage reduction from that as well. Her skill 3 put her is a state that allows her to attack multiple targets for two rounds with skill 1. Her passive reduce enemy crit chance when they attack her and she increase her damage output

Yes, that's correct. It's best in a slot for her in my opinion. If the soul set procs while she has the buff from her skill 3, she will do multiple bounce damage to enemies
