When I played in the recording sessions (at Lime Grove) for BBC tv's "Hot Shoe Show" in the mid 80's, Bonnie was often in attendance. A delightful, personable pro then and no doubt, the same now.
In Jean Ure's book Becky Bananas: This is your Life, there's a chapter in which the eponymous heroine lists all her favourite things. Her favourite dancer is Darcey Bussell; whereas mine is Bonnie Langford. I can recall my favourite things from 29 years ago.... TV show: Butterflies Pop group: The Supremes Book: A Time to Love by Beryl Kingston Film: Stowaway (a Shirley Temple movie from 1936).
Favourite film.....She's right, it does change. At the mo, I still think with affection of Sky West and Crooked, which I saw on TH-cam last year; and Two Brothers (about tigers) is also delightful. When I was 18, my fave movie was the 1943 musical Girl Crazy; if that had been remade in the '80s, I reckon Bonnie Langford would have been really good as "Ginger": I can imagine her singing I've Got Rhythm really well.
She's not quite as exquisite as she was in her "Violet Elizabeth" days; but still lovely, and the epitome of femininity. Has she ever played Anne of Green Gables, on stage?
Poor Bonnie! The sad fact is that even when she was a baby-faced "spring chicken" (and 100% bonny), one would get shouted down for complimenting her. Gosh, if anyone's having a laugh, I hope it's the guy who said on TH-cam that the equine-faced Kylie Minogue was "the most beautiful woman in the world". (Yuck!)
Bonnie looks great! She is an attractive lady. And I love her hair!
What a wonderful woman and such an infectious energy.
Phenomenal Bonnie always hits the right note. Love her sooo much.

God I love her

No, I'm being quite serious. Beautiful and sexy.
Karen Delaurey Willing to bet Bonnie's infinitely lovelier than you, you hateful git!
