In the map show the country which near to equator look smaller than the country near to pole. Actually Indonesia located on equator. Indonesia has more than 18.000 islands.
You need to know how much indonesia regions are 1,9 million km². It means indonesia is the 14th position base on his areas.
And for the water area, indonesia got number 7th (93.000 km²) for biggest water area.
So Indonesia is not a small country. Because it located to equator, indonesia was gifted by animals and plants, the mine also becase Indonesia blessed by many active volcanoes. Make every plants grow well there, and make this country become rich because his wealth natural resources creating minerals like nickel (ingredients of lithium), Golds, silvers and coals.
Also indonesia is the biggest one country who produce CPO (Crude Palm Oil) --> number 1 (King of CPO).
