THis would be pretty embarrassing for Palpatine, especially if there was some afterlife for Sith. But with Dooku dying pathetically from jumping and breaking his neck, and Palpatine fallign down the elevator shaft, the war would go on, but at least it would finally be a true war as neiter side would be influenced by the Sith anymore.
