Pop-up Shadowbox Card using the Graphic 45 Flight of Fancy collection

- Pop-up Shadow Box Card Tutorial. In this video we create an interactive greeting card using the beautiful @graphic45papers Flight of Fancy collection. This is my submission for the #G45BACall24. The paper has images of butterflies, flowers, and hummingbirds.
Shadow Box Card Cut Guide
5 ½” x 5 ½” Card When completed.
Card Base:
5 ½” x 11” Score at 5 ½” on the 11” side
Cardstock:
1 - 5” x 5” Mechanism frame base. (Can substitute with decorative paper).
2 - 6” x ½” Score each end at ½” This piece will secure the sliding portion of the mechanism.
2 - 1” x 3 ⅝” Cut to look like a capital “I” with ¼” tabs on all 4 corners - to adhere the internal shadow box elements to. (Can substitute with acetate or decorative paper).
Decorative paper:
1 - 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” Card base decorative cover (sits on top of the specialty paper).
1 - 5” x 5” Mechanism background piece.
1 - 4 15/16” x 4 15/16” Left mechanism slide. Score at 1” and 2 ½” on the 5” side. Cut a slit ¾” long, 1 ½” in and ¼” from the top and a second slit 2” in and a ¼” from the top.
1 - 4 15/16” x 4 15/16” Right mechanism slide. Score at 2 ½” and 4” on the 5” side. Cut a slit ¾” long, 3 ½” in and ¼” from the top and a second slit 3” in and a ¼” from the top.
Specialty paper (metallic, glitter, etc.):
1 - 5 ⅜” x 5 ⅜” First layer on card base.
1 - 4 ⅞” x 4 ⅞” First layer on frame.
Watercolor cardstock or decorative paper:
1 - 4 ¾” x 4 ¾” top layer on frame.
Acetate strips:
5-10 - Acetate strips approximately 3” x ¼” strips for adding butterflies/ephemera floating in the shadow box.
