As an Indo Guyanese woman and proud of my Guyanese heritage. This is such a wonderful classroom video and it's non biased accuracy. Just the truth... the poverty and much suffering in India. No one ever talks about the deep poverty and suffering from these countries, and the hopes of making a better life coming to Guyana...which our ancestors have made for us with opening doors and opportunities for future generations. But it's sad of their exploitation as in cheap labour 🙏💟. I always hold them dear to my heart for paving a more promising life of opportunities certainly for their future generations, like me and my family. It's wonderful to hear about our Guyanese folks of Chinese origin and running businesses choosing to stay in Guyana. And the same could be said within my own family. Guyana 🇬🇾:Our Amerindians and first nation, European, African, Indian and Chinese ancestry all formed our blessed country Guyana and Guyanese culture.. And it's taken many different ethnic backgrounds with labour, skills, businesses, jobs that had prospered this country. The sadness of this idyllic sounding story which everything could be. That a country with a relatively small population suffers from such unrest ,.. people who have nothing but negativity and anger.. It's so apparent the need for one to be seen as more superior, steeped in hatred, more entitled. Literally to fuel racism and unrest, certainly not respectful , even though that's how these speeches generally start, our Guyanese flag and our coat of arms...as One Nation, One People One Destiny🇬🇾💚. These people do nothing just an embarrassment to those who embrace where we are today, from our past and are proud of who we are...moving forward 🇬🇾💚🇬🇾. So thank you for your wonderful video...a lot of folks can learn...and face historical truths . Or Guyana has no chance of any lasting success if everyone is not together as one nation. Put us all together and how great we are, from our much valued and respected Amerindians, the vibrancy and our shared culture, what we learn from each other.. I get very disheartened. God Bless you for this video 🙏✝️
@@lessonswithmrs.turner-whyt2451 thank you. God Bless you too 🙏💟. The sad fact is so many choose not to see what they have and can build on. They take no responsibility for any suffering and hatred they cause themselves. Yet not one of these people would ever return to the land of their ancestors., but instead countries of their 'oppressors' !!! Just undermining those who are proud, with their belittling, hateful and racist stereotyping...even if our Christian Faith we hold dear in our hearts. How dare we!! Sad, but well done on your video. People don't like the truths, and as all racism goes the integration of people and a nation ...They prefer segregation and hatred...😔. 🇬🇾💚. 🙏✝️.
