I was at this show. The mystic theater in Petaluma is a treasure just below the Phoenix Theater. Everybody should go see this guy. Especially if you’re a guitar player.
I love the fact that he used the montell jordan remix for this show it just brought a funky fresh hip hop jive turkey sound that has never been seen since

I actually signed a few autographs in Atlanta when I jammed with my last band for people who thought I was Buckethead unmasked. The more I told I was not the more they argued I was.
56:20 what bass pedal does that tb303 filter sound? 57:20 yeah man, that is making some serious bass tweak face noises. I have behringer and digitech bass synth pedals but have never heard either make such a usable quacky 303 acid sound like that.
Is it just me or can you tell Buckethead wasn’t happy with Brains drumming around 1:28:46 His drumming wasn’t going with the AC/DC and Buckethead had to try to fit the songs into it.

I forgot that there was an actual transition period between his classic Praxis/GRII/Pre-GNR period and the lame no-band/killswitch abuse/50,000 albums a year most of which were mediocre at best/post-GNR period. I will always love Buckethead, but damn...his music went nowhere after his GNR stint.
Man 100% agree with you, buckethead was at his prime, shows started to decline in quality after he changed to his signature les paul. Im not saying changing his guitar was the cause lol, just for reference. His music is still godlike but this old 2004-2006 performances are insane, and have the best improvisations and solos ever.
I just thank Mr Carrol for not having these incredible BUCKETHEAD gems taken down!!
