The problem with tesla over ricochet is you dont get your stacks up on multiple people in teamfights right? Can be really nice to have 2-3 people burning at once, not to mention the extra lifesteal from burning multiple people too. I get they both kind of fill that farming role more than anything, but I find having more consistent burn in teamfights on multiple people is worth the extra 3k. I'll have to try out tesla tho see how it feels for myself
Yeah, he was hyping up Tesla Bullets and their buff a ton when he got it, but in reality the buff made it go from 0.13 spirit scaling to 0.16 spirit scaling. A whole 0.03 increase. His damage at the end of the game has it at 2.8k damage when he had it for around 30 minutes. That gives it around 93 damage per minute with a 14% fire rate increase bonus for 3k souls. Compare that to Escalating Exposure that was in his build for around 7 minutes and it dealt about 2k damage. Giving EE about 285 damage per minute, which is 3x more DPS than the Tesla Bullets. So even factoring in how EE is 3.3k more expensive, assuming you have spirit vuln before both items, it's still better value as a spirit item given how well it synergizes with his 3. I know your thought was on ricochet vs. tesla, but considering how ricochet combos with EE I feel it's fair to point out the DPS difference between the two spirit items.
@@randomguy14001 Its less about value across the whole game, but you can power spike alot eairler with how much cheaper it is so you can snowball and scale, and it still deals really good damage through the whole game. The eairler AOE damage also helps with clearing camps and waves faster sooner than you can get the more expensive stuff. Add to that you can pivot into counter items sooner. Of course a more expensive item will have better value, thats why its more expensive.
@@LivingLooneyBin you shouldn’t go straight for it, as building up tiers 2-3 should have your build progress healthier, but I more so just question if it’s really justified based on how little damage it did over 30 minutes. For another 3k item I’d rather get say Alchemist Fire as that keeps getting buffed and actually has some great value. The *main* point I wanted to make is that I think V overhypes the buff a lot considering it barely got changed.
Honestly, i would go tesla bullet just for farming, and still, it's not the best option since i will destroy it if i get Ricochet and since infernus abilitys are all aoe and deal alot of dmg to camps it won't matter that much in farming like ricochet
I would of sold it and got Ricochet off the rip instead. Especially in this video so many instances ricochet would of helped a lot more, especially since he got leech. Shame

it's really not that complicated when you get into the game, coming from smite it's honestly equal in terms of how complicated it is, I could see you arguing it being a little more or less but only by a bit tbh

@@randomguy14001 The other added benefit is the increased fire rate. Which is harder to quantify looking at endgame stats.

0.16 spirit ratio on Tesla doesn't usually get much attention, but if you have over 100 spirit late game, it does make a difference.
