  • This video is discussion on discoveries found once the cylinder has been removed. I measured the cylinder bore , rings , ring gap , and upper con rod bushes along with the pins with the tools I have available in my garage. I took notes of my measurements I decided a video on measuring would have been very long and drawn out so this is just a overview of my findings and a update of the cylinder head that was shipped out last week.     Tank looks good. How wide is the pinstripe? got a similar tank

      @@PATRICKWOODGER The white stripe is 1/8” this tank is from a 1970 A65L picked up at auction . This bike has the original tank with the white stripe also 1/8”.

      @@zachwrench THANKS ZACH, THAT'S GREAT. I THOUGHT THESE TANKS WERE ONLY UK. MINE IS ALSO FOR 197O LIGHTNING, GOING ON A 1970 FIREBIRD, WANTED THE BIGGER TANK SO I CAN GET DECENT FUEL RATHER THAN THE ETHANOL CRAP WHICH ENDS UP WITH WATER IN IT. ALL THE BEST FROM ENGLAND
