I've been a Forest fan since 1977 and Psycho Stuart Pearce was one of our greatest ever love the guy so much and Super Ally Mcoist as well I listen to Talk Sport 7 days a week love it The 96 Euros were great but again heartbreaking I was still not over Italia 90 what a world Cup and again the fekin Germans done us on pens in semis its soul destroying really is but back to our 2 hosts of this vid they were both incredible players and you knew you'd get 101 %every game from them wish we could gave our time again but not to be At least the memories and replays keep it all fresh and I know I shall always be grateful that I watched these 2 maestros at their very best than you gentlemen lol. Fantastic occasion, was gutted when we lost the match but everyone was buzzing at Euro 96, everyone had a bounce in their step. It was a brilliant tournament. England should have won it and I was genuinely gutted for them when they missed out against Germany. Great days. Wish I could go back in time.

As a Scot, and much as this was painful, I was really pleased for Pearce when he scored his penalty, I think, against the the Spanish. Really felt his relief and joy at making up for the past. Empathy doesn't see nationalities.
Takes me back. Pearce was the first on the sheet for me in his day. Businesslike and a little naughty, just as required. Legend. Can’t speak highly enough if McCoist, knows the game inside out, quality player. How wonderful it is to watch them reminisce.
Euro 96 was special, there's no two ways about it... Although England drew the first game, having Shearer end his goal drought and get that elusive goal against Switzerland shifted something for everyone... We had a top striker coming into form with a squad back to front full of quality managed by the brilliant Terry Venables.
The optimism built and built throughout the tournament, amazing memories, great soundtrack and great weather if I remember rightly...
The win against the Dutch put us in dreamland!
Can't imagine what it would mean to Southgate if England could win the Euros...

Pearcey played for West Ham with a broken leg for 20 minutes vs Southampton, that is fact. I think was a hairline fracture but nevertheless and we are lucky we have him in our backroom staff...class act

Ally McCoist has so much respect down South Real friendships with mutual respect .Beginning to see more & more English fans make journey up to experience Scottish Football esp Old Firm Neutrals from down South afterwards speak with highest respect and mind blowing atmosphere experience each say be planning return for more .Big name players you'll see or discover have attended Old Firm Derby & how would love the experience playing in mind blowing ,deafening atmosphere. England have Gary Lineker who ain't a patch on Ally McCoist media wise his personality is made for media Footballing punditry is class so much so possibly crack a smile from Roy Keane ,also make football's hardest ever Souness break out in a sweat thinking of days managed Ally McCoist .Souness spoke of having pull Ally into Ibrox office for dressing down but end up McCoist saying yeah ok boss but have heard this one & tell Souness/Smith a joke
Was hoping Ally McCoist would've went for Scotland Managers job .players for sure would've enjoyed get togethers be no pulling out for unimportant games.Ally mastered the love/hate relationship with Celtic fans not many are truly respected by both Even most bitter bigots watching fearful Ally McCoist carry Celtic Legend Tommy Burns coffin had change of opinion & even accept ,support Ally McCoist to lead Scotland International side I hope for new Allys Tartan Army Song . 😎

One thing I noticed watching this game back is the lack of theatrics, barely any arguing with the refs decisions, if there were fouls people just got up and got on with it etc...just shows how bad things are now.
