I've always looked for mid-level guides and wanted to know how to analyze top players. Most guides on TH-cam are very basic. These guides are incredible for moving up to the next level of basics
Just watched this and your ledgetrapping video, and these guides are absolutely phenomenal. You've managed to put into words a lot of the stranger nuances of the game that are difficult to concisely explain without giving bad advice since all these ledge situations aren't exactly always black and white. Really appreciate you going out of your way to find all these examples, too. I feel like this info will stick with me a lot more than a purely audio/training mode guide because of that
I think a video about edgeguarding would be great. When to pressure by staying between the opponent and the ledge, when and how to actually go out for an attack and probably how to avoid ending up in disadvantage.
I remember in a previous video you said that people weren't sticking around for examples. Maybe if you talked people through what was happening during the examples instead of putting text on the screen more people would stay. I mainly say this because it's hard to read the text then analyze how everything happened without rewinding. Just a thought :D
These guides are excellent! They’ve really helped me grow as a player and understand Ultimate a lot more. Since you’ve already done a video on aggressive neutral, can you do a video on defensive neutral?
These videos are amazing. Well thought out and excellent analysis, really breaking down the gameplay. For the next one you should make an "Improving advantage state" analysis.
Great vidéo ! I just wanted to share the name of the music used, as the title given in the description is not very accurate : Track Name: "It's Near" Music By: Dj Quads ("[Non-Copyrighted Music] Chill Jazzy Lofi Hip Hop (Royalty Free) Jazz Hop Music" is the name of several video on youtube, so it took me several minutes before finding the right song)
Welp i've watched all of those, practice for a while... but in a game it's fucking impossible to think about this... i just don't even understand, it's all too fast...
So how does this apply to GnW? I heard because of his animations it's impossible to react to his grounded getup options and i feel like that changes this whole thing into a huge guessing game for the opponent
These guides are exceptional, straight and to the point with examples too. Seriously well done.
Thank you very much, defs work hard on them :)
@@Poppt1 it would be awesome if you could throw them in a playlist

I miss this series :(
Flip kick
Really needed this. My ledge options are one of my weak points and now, I have a clear way to start working towards alleviating them.

This is a video I've been hoping for for a while....thank you
Hell yeah, a Poppt1 video. I promise to stick around through the examples ;D
Great video. I like how you have so many examples in slow motion and then show them at normal speed.
Videos like these really help expand what you can do defensively and Offensively, very helpful
Please make more "the mind of" , these videos are excellent to learn and analyze

Holy shit this guide is EXCEPTIONAL.
THIS is what I need to push myself further!
I really like how you broke ledge trapping down into two philosophies, reactive and preemptive. I'm going to start watching for this 👍🏼
The best instructional videos. Need more recognition than they get.
These guides are one of the best.. please continue the series.. I want to learn from you ❤️

I love that to make an example of expecting a ledge option versus having timing mixed up, Jordan just gets pelted by stuffed animals. lol
Poppt1 back at it again with the great video

Excellent content as always. Thank you for the detailed explanation and analysis. Could you make a video on Light and his Tech Chasing next, please?
These videos are godlike. Keep it up
