@@TheSlowworms yes. I am building up Ridley hybrid cx frame now and it's going to be flat bar. Flat bar Tiagra shifters and levers are very cheap rn in the UK.
the voodoo hoodoo will be my (and your) favourite bike jf you swap out the frame (did the same with my former hardtail mtb). then you h will have a ragley big al or big wig. love my ragley (sold my fully)!
It’s a hybrid bike aptly named a “Dawes Hybrid” 😄 I think it’s in the 1994 Dawes catalogue if you can find it online. Either that or the 1993 catalogue
Definitely pop some flat bars on the Dawes. I made up a flat bar gravel bike from a hybrid, and done a few 100+ km rides on it and it’s super comfortable. Also that’s 1X7… No Rules!
1x7, I love that 😆 I am really tempted to just put some wide-ish slightly swept back bars on it. In my head it would be much more nimble and easier to throw around a bit. Has yours got disc brakes?
@@TheSlowworms do it, you’ll love it. No it’s got v-brakes. Stops great, not a great deal of feel… haha. Still pick it over my fancy (to me) gravel bike at times.
Yeah, I quite like the colour no as well. I thought it looked rubbish when I first picked it up mind 😆 I’m glad you like the idea of changing it up a bit 👍
Which bike is your favourite? Let me know down below! 🚲
The Dawes one for sure mate. It just highlights what is possible with those older frames...
@@byc1013 ah that’s interesting, would you still like it if it had flat bars?

The Dawes hands down!
You’re the second person to say that! It’s more popular than I thought 😆

The frame is the only but that’s still original 😂 (and the tyres)
Definitely the dawes easy street is my favourite out of the bunch
Ah, no way 😄 I guess it is pretty good looking actually but the sight of it annoys me at the minute 😂
Nice editing. I'm thinking as well of putting a flat bar on my gravel bike. I prefer the feel of flat bar lever and the easier wheelies 😂
Thanks! Yeah, I think I’m the same. You might see my road bike with flat bars as well soon 😆
My boy you’re missing out on the glory of a fixie, or just a single speed
😂 I think you’re right. There’s just so many hills where I live though! I think I need to at least give it a go though
the last bike beach cruiser

the Dawes Easy Street is a beauty of a colour, but i think defintely work on it make it comfortable bike packing monster

The Dawes Easy Street, it's so beautifully classic. 😊👍
Ah thanks very much! The Easy Street seems to be getting a lot of love. You should’ve seen it before 😄
Fav for me is the easy street. It’s what brought me to your channel. I’ve got a project bike and it’s certainly provided inspiration for mine!
Nineties mountain bike! 🎉
It’s funny you should say that because I’ve got on of those but I didn’t put it in the vid because I never use it and haven’t done anything to it 😄
