So glad you are feeling better, house selling is an anxious time ,but it'll be well worth it for you to have your garden as it's your dream to come true.
Your such a shrewd shopper! Know what you mean about slippers as never used to wear them but their impact is immediate so don’t care if I look like Marge Simpson, being cozy is much preferred for arthritis. Glad you’re feeling better and getting closer to house moving.
Such a productive morning for you! Yes, when we've been poorly we can find everyday tasks and outings much more tiring than usual. So glad to see you gradually improving though.
It's customary to have purchased your own surveyor. "Buyer beware" is the rule. If you purchase your property, you want to have your own surveyor. I have learned for myself that not all surveyors are created equal. 😊❤
I didn’t know that you could recycle blister packs at chemists. I take a lot of medication and it has always upset me to throw them in the refuse. Now I will keep them for recycling! X
Do all pharmacies take them, do you know? I’ve been taking ours to a collection point in town for years now. It would be much easier to drop them at my local pharmacy.
I know you will check anyway, but be careful with the spreads with big 'plant based' labels on them. They add a premium price. My BIL has had to switch to dairy free and I was baking for a family meal, I saw the Flora 'plant based' spreadable. It was £3 for 250g. Flora buttery without the big plant based label (but it had it written in small writing on the back) exact same ingredients, £1.50 for 500g. So the big advertised plant based one is 4 times the price for the same product! (There was a slight difference of flora buttery had some linseed oil, and the spreadable had coconut, all other ingredients, including the other oils were the same)
Drives me bonkers how they can label something plant based and hike the price up. We end up having to pay so much more for things because of it. Just not on.
@ Yep it is either pay more, or spend several hours shopping having to read the ingredients on all the cheaper options to find one that isn't ripping you off.
Glad you're feeling better! I can't imagine not being able to turn the heat on. My whole house is on but doesn't actually kick on until it gets really cold in here. Been pretty depressed about our elections here in the U.S.

Awww I feel for your first time buyer. When a surveyor says something it sounds so serious and expensive. If they’d had the surveyor we did there’s no way they’d have taken on our place! However everything that came up in the survey has not been an issue for us, but so much that didn’t get picked up has been. Not that this would be the case with your place as its been well taken care of by you 💕 Well done with your shop 👍 I used to feel so pleased when I could get in and out of somewhere just on the Hopper Fare! 🙌

The stuff that's really crucial is HbA1c and triglycerides. High trigs mean the body is storing fat, excess calories. That would concern me more than LDL. Viral and bacterial infections raise LDL so if you had the test done with this chest infection, the result is probably not valid. Get it done when you are well. Your doctor should know this.

Don't listen to a word a surveyor says. One thing to your face and another behind your back. I believe you have the right to see your surveys btw. First time buyers are very skittish. Vivi, hoping this Survey goes off without a hitch. Have you ever tried eucalyptus oil for sticky label removal? It is brilliant and takes labels off in moments, without any picking or scrubbing. Good to see you looking and sounding better, but take it slowly. I can't wear slippers for any length of time as my feet get too hot so I tend to wear slipper socks. You did well with your shopping but it gets to be quite a juggling act to work it all out sometimes. I was discussing with my brother the other day that it feels like a full-time job keeping track of best gas/electric prices, savings interest rates, checking supermarket prices and combining coupons to maximise cash. Luckily I'm retired so have plenty of time if not cash but it all seemed so much simpler years ago when we had no (or very much less) choice. Perhaps the first survey was for mortgage purposes and the buyer wanted a more detailed one for herself? Fingers crossed that everything goes through smoothly now🤞
Crazy newbie buyer doing two surveys! Waste of time and money. Your ladies size 8 in the UK is size 10 in Canada. I had to look that up because I am a “Canadian”size 8 and also three inches shorter. Just seen on Tesco's website they have actimel 4.50 for a pack of 12 reduced to £3.00 with clubcard till 3 December
Sadly my little branch here doesn't stock them. 😢
Is it possibly a mortgage survey and then a buyer’s survey? I know they are often slightly different. Fingers crossed she doesn’t get spooked 🤞
No....it's another buyer's survey.
crumbs, she is being very thorough! Hope it all goes well 🌱🥰
Vivi, hoping this Survey goes off without a hitch. Have you ever tried eucalyptus oil for sticky label removal? It is brilliant and takes labels off in moments, without any picking or scrubbing. If you cannot buy it in the UK, or if it is very expensive there, let me know 🤔 I may be able to send it through the post. Good luck on your slipper and knicker shopping! ☺️
No, I've never tried it with eucalyptus oil....thank you lovely, I'll bear that in mind for next time. 😊
Thanx for the tip🐝🇨🇦
The additional survey may have been required by her banker for her mortage or the insurer.... Glad to see you are feeling better.
No, it was another home-buyer survey.
really really odd and a waste of her money. Fingers crossed all goes well even if it means a Christmas move. ❤️❤️❤️
@@carolwhite6979 It will almost certainly be after Christmas.....into the new year...
Good video
You dont need a oyster card anymore when i come to london i use my debt card x
My partner is very poorly has heart failure diabetes kidney disease stage 4/5 and has has a bilateral stroke so is heading to dialysis soon as 12 per cent function his dad passed away and his uncle and his cousin is now on dialysis so has a family link to it , we are at the stage of hospital appointments blood tests and so many hiccups it’s very worrying
And high blood pressure I forgot that ! Oh dear me
Oh I'm so sorry to hear this. 😢
Fingers crossed that everything goes through smoothly now🤞
Ach, yes, it's definitely more time consuming when you have less money! No, the two surveys are both home-buyer surveys.
When are you moving xxx❤❤❤❤❤
I don't know yet.......hopefully in the new year.....
Don't need an Oyster card anymore. Can use you debit or credit card.
🤗💕💚💐🌻
Crazy newbie buyer doing two surveys! Waste of time and money. Your ladies size 8 in the UK is size 10 in Canada. I had to look that up because I am a “Canadian”size 8 and also three inches shorter. Very comfy looking slippers! Hope the changes to your diet help with the high B.P. and cholesterol. Sometimes it’s genetic though and may require meds? Your energy is coming back hurrah!!! ❤️🌟🙂
I feel sorry for her having spent money on two surveys......nervous first time buyer syndrome! Oh my slippers are soooooo cosy...a great purchase!
Ha! Your feet perfectly match your frame. Imagine a UK size 8 supporting 5’4”. You could say I’m solidly planted! I don’t fear wayward feathers. 😉
😉
Viv I use unsalted butter and if I want salt 8 use my healthier salt
Glad you're feeling better Vivi, the Queen Consort has the same chest bug, so it's a regal thing! I'm on 40 mg statins & my doc says my cholesterol is still going up - 4 point something - & is threatening to put me on even higher statins. It's difficult being well behaved as my customers feed me biscuits, cakes, bacon sandwiches etc x
Awww, bless them, well meaning but definitely not good for you!
Omg Never 40 Quid 25 is plenty.Sorry You r paying for the name..I paid 35 that enough .Goody two slippers ha..
