Love it when Chuck finally cuts up and let's it all hang out. It has way more impact because he doesn't do it all that often. It still amazed that he can make a Squire sound like that.
I wish he'd "let it all hang out" a little more often. I've ripped about 3 or 4 versions of , "You Did" to MP3 for my daily listening. I love them all for different reasons, but I think he really did stretch out more in this version. One of the more endearing things about Chuck is his devotion to that cheap old Squier Tele. He's proof that, as long as the guitar was made properly, it's more important how you use it than how fancy it is.

Great admiration for this band. I saw chuck in healdsburg California as a late replacement for a “music in the plaza” event. Blown away. This song I think is mysterious and profound. I believe he is referring to the letters of Paul of sarsus and the impact of gospel of yesua on the peoples of that time. Call me crazy but chuck prophet is a prophet.
The only thing I like more than Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express is MORE Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express. I wish they'd extended the solo a couple minutes and added some back-and-forth between Chuck and James.
I don't think I've ever heard the same solo from him. It is always different. Genius!
