Steve, that dude committed the cardinal if not mortal sin of plugging a relief valve. This is a bomb ready to explode! I’ve never seen anyone do that in my forty years!
Steve as always excellent camera recording with quality audio explaining what you’re doing! I’ve learned a lot watching you and appreciate you showing us on TH-cam all that you do. You’re the best! Thanks. Martinsburg, WV 🇺🇸
I do HVAC in MA also. Love Steves videos. I would of used a drop cloth though. Steve got lucky everything came out! I have a 36" aluminum Ridgid wrench that i rarely use but happy to have it when i need it! People say us plumbers charge too much, but your paying for our knowledge, tools, etc. I charge $175 per hour and the phone never stops ringing
Goat plumber... That's what you call a mixed compliment! LOL Thanks for another one Smurf Jism, b/c there was only one Smurfete. I have a right, I watched that cartoon (original), religiously.
This was one of the best episodes. Seeing that crusty valve and pipe, cutting a new nipple, getting rid of that old water feeder. I think the new setup is better, a lot cheaper to maintain.
Steve did a great job. I was worried about his back taking out that expansion tank. You want to be standing higher up to get more leverage when turning it off...
Man! Talk about good luck getting everything out without issues 😅. Usually the spud wrench breaks away the inside pieces and your left with chiseling it out or the black iron is toasted or ovals out haha. Nice video Steve
This guy is damn lucky you disarmed that bomb and made it safe. Regardless if he’s changing out or not it could not be fired up in the condition he had it in. He should not play with something he knows nothing about. Nice job as always Steve!
Hi Steve awesome work, you are very dedicated to your work and never cheat people. You are a very honest person and I always love watching your videos. I have a question do you still have your chickens and can you give us an update on them?? Steve thank you for making videos I know it takes a lot of time to edit and post videos. Thank you Steve!!! 😁😁😁😁
Hey Steve I was wondering how much service calls go for in your area I'm from Missouri I am a HVAC tech and we get $70 in town on up thank you for your time
Dad kept his boilers going with a bad expansion tank for over 30 years. Yes, plural. Didn't even replace it when he put in a new boiler. Too cheap for a new one! Manual feeder, just kept the pressure low enough that it wouldn't blow the relief.
You want the liability Steve! Your job is to put in furnaces and not to pull permits for someone else. It's like me asking a plumber to pull the permits to put plex piping in my house and I would do the work. Your job title is plumber, not permit puller. Plus, you're losing out on the money putting equipment in his house.

Does that disable the relief valve? So on over pressure, the system just explodes at the weakest point?
Im always worried my relief valve is bad and wont do its job. Do they go bad? Is there a way to check?
Don't touch it or put new
@@WeatherNut27 if you lift up the little flap on the top a nice stream of water should come out
Oh if it builds enough pressure the plug will come out...

Another video which makes me glad I have a forced-air gas furnace.
Crack'd, rusted out heat exchanger can still cause harm from CO poison.
Excellent work Steve!
Very professionally done ! So much for that floor ! Drop cloth ?
An awesome video Steve, looks complicated as heck! Remain safe and keep the videos coming 💥💫👍☝️🫵
Steve, One of your more interesting videos. Great job.

You're always interested in saving people money. It's cool being on the trail with you, if you know what I mean.
Give thanks,,,
Nice job there Steve
You’re the GOAT!!!
Howdy Steve and Miss Molly
You make it look easy
Good one Steve! Definitely NOT a “Pro Press” job!
Hey Steve, have you ever read the instruction card on those relief files? Typically step number seven says they must be installed vertical
Nice job Steve. Nice editing. I Enjoyed the whole video.

Did a job like this bout year ago, I just used 2 1 1/4” copper male adapters and copper pipe

Hey Steve and Miss Molly! Workin’ again ya’ll. 👍👍
Cold weather everybody put the heat on! She's a leaker!😅
Loading up the pipe machine is like walking in with the tablet, it's not gonna be cheap.
Bahco?
"Bustin my ass" and "half-assed" were expeessions my dad would use - another reason to like Steve 😉
Remember Steve - “righty tighty, lefty loosey“. 😂🤣😅👍🏻
Gave it the ole “how ya doinin!” Mama
It's a crusty one, Mr. Grinch!
Please put a old rug or something on the floor to keep from scratching the hardwood floor
Place was a dump
Stop being so pretentious. You people whine about everything.
First world problems. SMH
It isn't dump.
It's someone's beloved home.
Who's going to do these when guys like you are gone? Not the press queen😂😂🤣🤣
We will be shit out of luck. Maybe that's why he records his work. Steve will be immortalized.
11:45 was that what I think it was? 😂😂
As we officially in Autumn, can you do a belly warming cooking episode please Steve 👍❤️xxx.
Howdy steve schedule 80 for low pressure system???
Smurph jism to the rescue
Why not a backflow ahead of that feeder? Isn’t that code?
@@superduper6123 the regulator acts as a back flow preventer

I see you wear your Apple watch while working Steve. Any issues?
GOOD ENOUGH FOR THIS NEIGHBORHOOD
Not easy being cheesy momma.
Do you think any of these Pro Press junkies know how to thread pipe? This job wasn't getting done with a Pro Press.

Total junk..I have as a handyman, taken that crap out and still solder
No they probably don't. They will just watch TH-cam on their phones
