Capezio sold all kinds of clothing for men and women in the late 1980s and 1990s. Good brand...I had some of their pieces back then. LOVE the fringe jacket! What a find! Also love the little black & white floral dress with every single blouse, particularly the yellow one and the orange-y one. The velour tee-shirt is so great! Very '70s. Man, you really scored! ♥

I admire your decisiveness at try on - ya check it on the hanger, 'Naaa, too small'. So quick, so honest. I spend waay too much time tyring to fit into stuff that is clearly a no go. You always seem to breeze through it :)
I'm so glad I found you (hey, sometimes the Al Gore Rhythm works!). I'm halfway through the video and I gasped at that mint green cardigan-- i just ordered the one from Target X Sandy Liang which is definitely vintage inspired. What a good find!
My favourite is the light brown fringe jacket. Lucky you!! In my opinion next time you find a matching set outfit, even if you don't like one of the pieces buy the whole set. You can always change that one piece. But you can also use the fabric to make a scrunchie or a headscarf or cover a barette. Also you can make it into a scarf. Or a scarf to tie onto your purse. You can also keep a small piece of fabric to use as a pocket square. You can also twist it up into a flower and use as a brooch. You can make it into earrings. Another thing I like to do is to use a plain matching blouse and then use the fabric to make or cover the buttons. If there is enough fabric you can make it into a belt. So many ideas and possibly even more. I wish you would go back and buy that blouse & I hope it's still there. But next time just buy the whole thing.

Then, your styling and try-on portion came on, and I saw the method to your madness. I still would never wear the taxi sweater, nor the black and white top to the skirt set, but really enjoyed how your styling gave new life to pieces I would have passed on. I especially liked the various print blouses under the black and white floral print sleeveless dress. Really made it current. You have a new sub in me!

That jacket is my absolute favorite. A superb haul Nikki! You know how some thrift stores have a rack for vintage? This one should have a rack for contemporary! ( Glad you could take a vacation)

That store was amazing, you really had the thrift gods smiling down on you! I even would love anything from your reject pile! But it looks like you picked all the right pieces. Funny how we look back on “the one that got away” piece. I have a Jaguar sweater that got away probably like a decade ago and I still think about it 😭

What an epic trip and haul! There are so many good ones you left too (I get it - we can’t have them all). But that just goes to show how good it was! That fringe coat is hands down the best value - if you went to a vintage curated store, easily $100-150.

This Goodwill has "flat" pricing which means everything is the same price in a category... tops are $4.50, dresses are $9 I think, and jackets are $7. Hope that helps!

I have never been to a store that had a policy against it, though I think that LA area in particular has rules in place (from what I've seen on TH-cam).
